I think a lot of you guys are forgetting something very important...

If this trade happens, it won't be announced within the next 24 hours. Sunday is the All-Star Game, the league's showcase event, and with it being played in the Cowboys stadium and everything it's a big deal to the NBA. Amare Stoudemire is the starting center for the Western Conference. There is no way in hell that they announce that one of the All-Star starters has been traded on the same day as the game!! It's never happened before, and it would be too awkward for it to happen now!

I mean, does he switch uniforms and come over to the Eastern Conference before the game?

Trust me, it's time to go to bed. Yes this deal is probably very close to happening from what we're all seeing but if it gets done it will get announced Monday morning at the earliest. Good night.

It would be hilarious and devastating at the same time if the Cavs traded for Maggette. I can imagine it now:

2:58 PM Windy's Twitter: "Kerr is about to sign off on the Amare to Cleveland deal."
3:01 "Breaking news: Cavs have just completed a deal for Corey Maggette of the Golden State Warriors."

It would really be like this:

If they trade for Maggette, I will drive from Kent to Cleveland just to jump off the 480 Bridge.
