Oddly enough Mike Brown would have been a great fit as an assistant had we not hired him and then fired him for the second time.

I'd like to see them bring in Brian Scalabrine as maybe the 3rd assistant. He was good in GS from what I've heard.

Scalabrine is actually a pretty good basketball mind. I'd be okay with this.

Does Chauncey Billups have a job? I'd like him on board to mentor Kyrie.

Billups is technically on the Pistons' roster for this coming season. He was out most of last year with a knee injury and it sounds like he's hoping to recover enough to go one more year, but there's a significant chance he's done. That said:

Vinny is close with griff, i could see him being put on the staff, both for an example of how not to be ahead coach and a way of griffin keeping a close connection with the coaching staff, always helps having a guy you trust on the inside

Mark Jackson dismissed Scalabrine from the coaching staff before the season was over. Cavs can do better.

Did anyone ever figure out what happened between those two? All I've read is that they didn't get along and Jackson finally got tired of it. That whole situation was a mess and unfolded pretty quickly.

Jackson was being undermined by Scalabrine, I'm guessing over the things that eventually got Jackson fired. Still, its not a first year coaches place to undermine the head coach with the players.
