With Darnold sitting out today, Baker has gained the rookie lead for passing yards. Baker also has the lead for passing touchdowns.

If Baker simply repeats his performances and averages after the bye, he will nearly break 3,500 yards for the year.

An absolute great year for any rookie QB.

And he still might not win rookie of the week because of the monster game Chubb had. I'd probably give it to Baker anyway because that first half passing performance basically set things up for Chubb in the second half. But either way...definitely a Brown winning it again.

Mayfield to me has a little bit of Brett Favre (aggressive mentality and youthful exuberance) + a little bit of Philip Rivers (supreme self confidence that toes the line of cockiness) + a little bit of Drew Brees (size, football IQ and accuracy).

Honestly, that's a pretty good description. But me personally?... he reminds me a lot of Paul Pierce.
