Bang Bang Georges Niang

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Niang’s saving grace is he at least tries and is aware on defense..

His defensive issues are purely physical (short, slow, not athletic) but he does hustle, is active and has some grit&grind..

JBB seems to take issue with guys who aren’t active or can’t process — neither of which seem to be an issue with Niang..

JBB doesn’t bench guys who are bad on defense; he benches guys who don’t try and make consistent mistakes on defense..

Lol

The Cavs got a backup big who isn’t afraid to shoot. The money is a lot, but let’s hope he can’t help space the lane.

14 games last season he at least made 4 3s and above 50%

That’s pretty good for a bench role player to help spacing and shooting.

Looking at the sixers subreddit

He can stick with people defensively as long as they're not super athletic.

Many loved him.

Some remarks about his consistency but they don't look smart.

He doesn't do anything if he's not hitting his shots.

Ingles to Magic for 2 years, $22 million.

Raise your hand if you would’ve taken him over Niang.

I listen to a lot of 76ers talk because I'm an Eagles fan and here is what i gather on Niang
- fan favourite
- total liability on defense, like absolutely the worst, borderline unplayable in the playoffs
- streakier the past year or so then he used to be

He doesn't do anything if he's not hitting his shots.

As long as he does nothing while standing a foot behind the three point line, his mission is accomplished.
