I like Ramirez a lot. Hope we can find him a spot when Lindor comes up (CF...CF...CF...CF...).

First time all night we got a call on a corner

He's probably gonna play 2nd-- his defense is too good not to play him in the middle IF, especially with Kip's lack of range at 2nd.

Kipnis can play LF, DH, and backup 2B. Tito will probably shuffle them around but there's more than enough playing time for both to be everyday players along with Lindor. Helps that Ramirez rakes against lefties too....

Not a chance in hell Kipnis moves out of 2B. They spent all that time changing his position after drafting him, and all that money for him to be the 2nd baseman for the foreseeable future. When Ramirez was sent down earlier in the year he started to play OF a bit, so I think the plan is already in motion a bit...I just hope they don't convert him into a corner outfielder.

They've already discussed moving Kipnis to the OF. He's a really poor defender at 2nd and the weak link of the infield defense.

I think they worked out Ramirez in CF twice but gave up on it and started looking at Kipnis and/or Chisenhall to move to the OF. Ramirez's best position is 2B and Kipnis is well below average defensively. I suppose we could see Kip at 3B and Lonnie in LF, but I highly doubt we see Ramirez in the OF-- can't put a plus infield defender in the OF over two well below average defenders in the infield.

I know Kipnis is a below average 2B (he was trending upwards in 2012 then fell off a cliff, mostly because I think he is getting that Asrubal Cabrera syndrome where he looks a little fat), but I don't think he is going to be a good defender anywhere you place him, and he isn't the kind of hitter you want as a DH. I would rather put the athleticism of Ramirez out in CF than attempt to hide Kipnis in a corner. This also allows Brantley to stay in LF where I think he is a much better defensive player since his arm is utilized more than when he is in CF. Think they'd be making a mistake if they went the way you are suggesting. And I'm not so sure they gave up on Ramirez in the OF in Columbus. If I am remembering correctly, an infielder got hurt and he had to go back to 2B.

We would only gain 1 game on them. We need the sweep.
I'll be ecstatic if we get the sweep, but no we don't need it. Just keep chugging along and winning series.
