Battlefield 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I literally just hopped on and I will shoot you a request but can you explain Conquest for me?

Am I trying to follow along (mostly on foot lol) to the red bases and trying to kill the guys defending them until my base turns blue?

Also, is it a good idea to stick around and defend the base if I'm there or should I move onto the next base?

I'm fucking confused.

Conquest is like capture the flag. There are between 3 and 5 flags per map.

The way to get points quickly is to get to the flag, wait until you capture it, and then run on to another flag. You can only capture a flag when you're in the vicinity (you'll see when the flag name/circle gets larger in the middle of your screen) and your team outnumbers the enemy. If you're close to a flag and it's not capturing, it means that either the defending team has an equal or greater amount of people there than your team.

You get 200/150 points for taking the enemy flag back to neutral and another 250/200 for making it your team's flag. The difference in points depends on if you're the first person to arrive at the flag or not.

I can play with your later and explain in game if you want, but that is a start, I suppose.

i may be on after the buckeye & cavs games...
we could try and help to along (If DDJ will be on then...)

I was dead tired last night but I should be on some today.

If you have ever played Star Wars Battlefront, Conquest is exactly like that.

Conquest is also sort of like Domination in CoD

I'm on Ps3. I was pretty much the greatest Battlefield 3 player of all time, but I haven't played since November. I've been playing NBA 2k12, and it is hard for me to play shooting games and sports games at the same time. Its a different mood. Maybe I will switch back to BF3 soon.

Yeah that was pretty cool. I was a little lost just because the level expanded so much so I'm not familiar with it yet. Once I get the level layouts down I should be good to go.

Sorry I bounced last night, wasn't feeling it at all. I'll hit you up again soon.

Do you guys play battlefield 3 with xbox or ps3? Last shooter game i had was Black Ops. I always had a good time playing in a group with head-sets. Been playing in a few Madden leagues which are about to wrap up. Trying to bring the Browns some glory! I am actually thinkin i may pick up Battlefield 3 as it looks more tactic/strategy based. I know im about a year late, but with my music writing and the 2 Madden leagues i have not had much time.

PS3 for a lot of us.

Fuck the Rent-A-Server update. Can't find any normal servers of rush anymore.

The normal servers that only play rush are the ones that begin with a P then a bunch of numbers. They can be hard to find sometimes.

BF3 on PC is around $25 on amazon right now.

Totally worth it imo, and you can get ~15 bucks if you trade in a console version. (DDJ7777, I'm looking in your direction)

I had fun on PS3, but aside from being comfortable with console controls (aka Auto-aim), PC is better.

haha, I'd totally move over but I have 5 family members that play PS3 with me.

yes, yes you did.

Havent played in months. As soon as i realized that my "all-inclusive" preorder was not "ALL" inclusive as in; they left ll the good shit out and made me have to pay for it, thats when I said, "no mas"..

In other news my copy of BF3 is now for sale for the low price of $25.. Holler.
