Bills Updates: Pick Watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who could have predicted this?!

Best defensive line in football. Promising, VASTLY overcriticized QB play (when he was healthy last year). Fantastic running game. Sammy, who is incredibly NFL ready.

But I was an idiot for predicting 8-8. :shakehead:

I'd probably wait longer than 2 weeks before bragging about being right.

The Bills have done this several times recently, starting fast before fizzling out in really, really horrible fashions.

No. I'm right, just accept it. Cleveland luck, bad things to good people, cursed, etc.

(Convinced this shit in the game threads caused the Heat to fall short last season)

The thing is, it was quite possibly a good trade for both teams. Our WR position is a weakness, but it isn't (yet) hindering the offense to the point where we aren't developing. I think Austin and Hawkins are suitable at the 2 and 3 WR position, and it's too early to grade Gilbert, but he played much better.

I am just a huge fan of picking up 1st round picks, and as far as draft value, I think we came out ahead. Obviously it's impossible to know how the rest of this all pans out, and it sucks that Buffalo is 2-0, but they aren't a playoff team just yet.

Reverse jinx? One of my favorite tactics. Works very well. Go forth.

And my concerns about the offense are justified. Manuel looked awful today, and if you need any proof regarding his lack of talent, just look at the Watt pick 6. Just lets it rip right off the snap, carelessly throws the ball right into the arms of Watt. I know it was a designed quick read, but have enough intelligence and confidence to make sure THAT won't happen before letting go.

EJ has no confidence, and the fans have already begun begging for Orton. It's starting to look like the normal Bills implosion, and with Detroit and New England coming up, it may begin sooner than usual. Enjoy the top 10 pick guys, it'll take a miracle for Buffalo to finish with a winning record.

Manuel looked absolutely terrible today. One could even say Fitzpatrick outplayed him.

I heard 2 plays from this game. Spent the entire day moving/pulling carpet staples out of my floor. Had 92.3 playing (is Adam the Bull a play-by-play guy?) and the 2 plays I heard were a Spiller run for 4 yards, then Watt's pick 6 to take the lead. Nice little anecdote in the middle of a hungover moving day.

Looks like their begging worked.

Kyle Orton will start Week 5 for the Bills. EJ Manuel benched.

Orton is a trash can fire but Manuel is a full blown dumpster fire. This move is slightly bad for the Browns.

I'll say the Bills finish the season 4-12. Only other wins coming against Minnesota and Oakland.
