Browns Free Agency 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LOL at offering a first for Bradford.

They probably did ut too.

Whether we land Bowe or not (I think he's going to be here because of Farmer) will feel like an election for the Pope because if we see the large cloud of white dust over Lou Groza Blvd. in Berea we know Jimmy just opened his wallet.

Grossi really out on the limb there.

Scoop.

The concern with Bowe will always be the drops and disappearing in the red zone passing offense. He does run he intermediate slants extremely well, catching passes when he doesn't have seperation. The Browns didn't have anyone who could do that last year because Gordon was either suspended or half-assing it, now the Browns would have Hartline and Bowe capable of catches in traffic.

Tough to get noticed in the red zone when you lack the targets.

Was a problem for all the Chiefs this season.

True, he wasn't getting opportunities, but it might also be because Smith has lost faith in him. He has been a leader in dropped passes for a few years now. Last year he had 7 drops on 95 targets. That doesn't help the OC and QB call your number in the Red Zone.

That's not a wholly terrible number, drops are going to happen, the top of the category is a who's who of top NFL receivers.

Edleman had 11 in 124
Benjamin 11 in 142
Cobb 8 in 125

Great news for the D-Line depth. Starks used to be really, really good as a 3-4 end who can line up at nose tackle in a pinch. He has been in a Pro Bowler before. I guess Suh made him expendable. Probably at the end of his career, but for that price he should be very productive in a D-line rotation.
