Browns need Troy Smith!

After seeing frye play horrible against the bengals I am definitely convinced that Frye has to go! He stares down his recievers, has a bad arm, and makes bad decisions.
I feel sorry for that poor defense, who is playing good but frye just helps the other team score with all of his ints!!!!!

Troy Smith is smart, proven winner in college, plays good in big games, and has good vision and a great arm!!!

Edwards is pissed at frye and with good reason!

We better draft him if he is available!!!!!!!!

For the 4238934893469th time we don't need a drafted QB unless we get some O-Line to go with it..

Our line is trash..and the QB's behind it are playing like trash because of it..couple that will Frye's horrible skillset..

bentley will help, but not enough. shaffer has been a joke. andruzzi is old. coleman is subpar. tucker has been hurt.

i'd still like to have troy though. he is a winner, can throw the deep ball, can throw accurately, and has charlie's only positive which is scrambling ability and he's better at it. troy would improve this team once he learned the offense. keep frye in there to get his ass kicked until troy is ready to take over.

Yep, yep.. As long as you can put a good O-Line on the field, your offense has a chance of moving the football..

Bentley will no doubt be the leader of our line next year.. But everything else is questionable..

Shaffer has done an okay job this year but he's overpaid for what he's producing..

Our guards flat out suck, like you said.. It'd be nice to get a guy like Eric Steinbach in the offseason..

Tucker has been a solid O-Lineman, but you can see he's starting to wear done.. Kelly Butler may be the answer to our problems there next season..

As far as QB's go, I'm really close to agreeing that we need to draft one.. Troy Smith would defintely be my #1 guy, as far as the QB, position goes, but first and foremost we need a line to protect him.. or else he'll turn out the same way Charlie has turned out..

When Roethlisberger was available in the draft I really wanted us to draft him. He has turned out to be really good. However, if he was drafted by us, I'm afraid he would have been detroyed by our lack of good coaching and an offensive line. Troy Smith is a special talent, but if we draft him, it would be a total waste unless we replaced the coaching and inproved the O line significantly. They could set a record for destroying promising young QBs if they don't improve. Upgrade the coaching and line play!

we're going to have to take the best player available, that's the way the draft has become. i'm slowly realizing that charlie is not the QB of the future for the browns. it's his play that makes the o-line look worse than they already are. drafting troy smith is a giant risk, but could have a giant payoff. either in him becoming the franchise QB, or using him to trade down for some o-line and secondary help.

2nd round- should be troy smith, if not there then the best QB left.

3rd-4th OL

5th- DT

6th- LB or WR

7th- best still there
