Browns need Troy Smith!

I dont want droughns at running back, split time yes. peterson is a beast who does not need the best OL to put up big numbers.

There will always be beastly RB's coming out.. Just look at Antonio Pittman and Darrent McFadden coming out in a few years..

Good O-Lines make RB's... Without a O-Line, the RB has no where to run..

Look at all the RB's drafted later in the rounds that are having success because of great O-Lines:

Chester Taylor
Frank Gore
Willie Parker
Julius Jones
Tatum Bell
Rudi Johnson
Brian Westbrook
Michael Turner
Jerious Norwood

what do you think man?

Your priorites need to be set straight..

No the OL is top heavy with good OL meaning taking one late your getting another Coleman Andruzzi Shaffer type of player..

GARBAGE

Your ignorance is painful to read..

this draft is high on OL, so takin one in the first round is not that good.
It's the principle.. It sets the tone..

Yeah...then again we've used that whole....oline is deep this year so draft late bullshit excuse in the past.

What the hell do we have to show for it?

you guys are all so set on Troy Smith like he is going to be a savior or something. Drafting QBs is the biggest crapshoot. Isnt this the same team that drafted Tim Couch...none of the QBs that got drafted last year are having impacts and they were just as good, if not better then Smith. All you guys will do is complain that he isnt devolping fast enough, QBs take time, and the Browns dont really want to keep waiting to put a team that is going to contend for something.

Speaking of eyewear... I'd like to ArabianGoggle/ Asspyramid all of our linemen as retribution for making Charlie look even worse than he really is.

(If you don't know what I'm referring to then I'll give you a hint. Our country- and one girl in particular- got into a lot of trouble for doing this to a huge amount of prisoners about 2 yrs ago.)

i understand the need for o-line, but what i dont understand is who is the weakest link? they are all so mediocre i wouldnt know where to begin, but here goes...

to me bentley obviously anchors the line for a half decade, i like shaffer better than tucker because i think kelley butler can become a beast (we had chance to draft him but passed either way i'm glad he's a brown) andruzzi is a temporary solution and coleman never impressed me

apparently there is a good amount of o-line talent in the draft, but is there anyone out there that would step in right away for the browns?

thats true bigshot.

Im high on peterson bacause i see him bounce off LBs, DEs and everyone. I think he could step in and really help us. We also need a QB.

OL is very important, but i think we can get good one's 3rd round and so on. guys like peterson will only come around once in a while.

I just dont wanna see another MVP running back get passed up by the browns like LT did. not saying peterson will be an LT. but u never know.

Peterson just had a pretty big injury, and just because he is good in college doesnt mean his game will transfer over to the NFL, some of the best players in the league were taken in later rounds.

Peterson doesn't do a damn thing without the O-LINE...

Ya but Peterson iz good cuz he runz so fast meaning he cud score a lot of TD's 4 the Brownz which meanz he wouldn't need so much blokking so we can draft a QB and some WRs..

never seen him run have u?? he is the best RB in college, so i like his chances to so something.

Not if he can't stay healthy.. Just about every year in college he's been injured..

Point is that we can't go anywhere without an offensive line.. We keep saying "we'll get one next year" but in reality we don't. We need to face the fact and take a lineman and realize that our offensive line is setting this franchise back.

If we have the #1 draft pick in the whole draft would u guys take a OL? what about quinn?

what happens if we stack up on OL in the draft. and the browns 2007 OL is sweet as hell. oppps but we have no RB or QB. damn we are back to square 1.
