Browns need Troy Smith!

Since it seems that Frye wont cut it in the NFL, Id prefer the Browns spend big $$$ on a proven vet for the qb position. I dont know about you but I dont want to wait through the developement process again with some rookie.

Need an o-line before we get any other QB. Getting a new QB every year hasn't helped us in the past how will it help us now?

Get an o-line and get a veteran QB in the off season then get a young QB or hell maybe Frye can be our QB of a future. But we need a vet QB and a line.

My biggest concern with Troy Smith is a shade over 6 feet tall. Short QB's have consistantly had a difficult time making the transition to the NFL.

My other concern is that I hear he is a bit of a knucklehead...he was compared to Mo Clarrett minus the criminal record by a former player. I was going to Harry Buffalo in Lakewood last Wednesday and parked out front were two stretch Hummer limos....one was Troy's, one was Gonzo's. Troy was behind the bar and walking around with a bottle of liquor in his hands acting like he owned the place. Gonzo was acting normal. Not to mention the night before Troy skipped the Buckeye event downtown to go to the Cav's game. Not sure how he'll handle the millions and the transition to the NFL. I think there is a lot of risk here.

People always talk about how smart Troy Smith is when it comes to the football. Is he worth it? Yes. But will we get him? No. He will be gone before we have a chance to draft him.

He's grown up quite a bit...

Im serious about what i am about to say


We need to trade for Mike Vick.....we need to pray that this rest of the season blows for the Falcons and that they give Vick's backup Matt Schuab a shot at the end of the year and he wins a couple of games

then we swoop in and offer a couple of number 1's and 2's and a player not named Braylon or Kellen and just try and out athlete the rest of the NFL

Line would be improved next year regardless plus Vick makes the oline better than it is in general.....Vick has the tools but doesnt seem to fit anymore in HotLanta

Vick Braylon and Kellen has the makings of a possibly deadly offense and we hope that fixes our problems.....its not like we have anything to lose
