The problem is not Frye. It's the O line. Argue all you want, when you watch tape most of his picks are from far too much pressure on every snap. THAT'S the secret to success in the NFL. Take a look at Pitt last year. I said all year, it's not Ben, it's the time he has to find WR's. This year, teams are blitzing...
Two years ago, AFC championship, NE vs Pitt. I knew NE would blitz all day, and I called 3 INT's and one for a score (I called the wrong player though). If Frye had pitt's O-line, (namely if we have LeCharles) he's twice as good.
I hope we use our first two picks on just O-lineman this year.
Looking back on that statement I am not blaming all QB problems on Frye, but Charlie is and should be our QB. He has a lot of room to improve, but let him mature and play the game.
