The problem is not Frye. It's the O line. Argue all you want, when you watch tape most of his picks are from far too much pressure on every snap. THAT'S the secret to success in the NFL. Take a look at Pitt last year. I said all year, it's not Ben, it's the time he has to find WR's. This year, teams are blitzing...

Two years ago, AFC championship, NE vs Pitt. I knew NE would blitz all day, and I called 3 INT's and one for a score (I called the wrong player though). If Frye had pitt's O-line, (namely if we have LeCharles) he's twice as good.

I hope we use our first two picks on just O-lineman this year.



Looking back on that statement I am not blaming all QB problems on Frye, but Charlie is and should be our QB. He has a lot of room to improve, but let him mature and play the game.

In 2004 they got to the conference championship with Vick....and Vick has a pretty good record as far as winning goes...so what in the heck are you talking about? Vick cant throw? who does he have to throw to? he has no good receivers, and has just started to change his game into being a passing QB.

vick has a hell of an arm. his accuracy?? I'm not so sure. but his recievers are dropping so many balls that it is affecting the outcome of the games. dropped touchdowns, firstdowns...they kill drives and scoring opportunities and they will cost you the game. we have seen it happen here first hand (northcutt on many occasions, braylon on a few). not all of atlanta's troubles can be blamed on vick, it just isn't fair.

i'd love to see him in browns uniform...with the weapons we have here I think he could succeed...joe jurevicius is a sure handed reciever and would have a huge year with vick I think...remember when the Falcons had Brian Finneran(well I think they still have him but injuries have plagued him the last few years) he was a surehanded tall reciever and that worked out well.

plus we have a great tightend who could put up even better numbers than alge crumpler who is vicks favorite target to throw to.

now do I see it happening?? no, not so much. especially after what Braylon said the other day..."it's not like I gave anyone the finger" in reference to Mike Vick's actions on Sunday...but I wonder if Vick has a no trade clause and he can say where he does or doesn't want to go.

Ya vick took them to the playoffs all by himself right?? not like falcons have a def or anything. I would sign vick as a WR or RB. but thats it.

vick does have a arm, but thats about it. He also has a retarded arm motion that screws up the WRs.

Wow. All Michigan talk aside, I really thought you knew something about football. I'm not saying that Vick couldn't be good on the right team and (more importantly) in the right system, but sell the draft? You really think this team is one player away?

on a side note, why werent you guys courting someone like Daunte Culpeper? although he isnt very mobile he is very good when he is playing well, and he would deffinitly have a couple of good targets in Braylon and Kellen hell he could even utilize Joe had he have been healthy. there arent many mobile QBs out there that you can just get from there teams, only way that will happen is if you draft one, which i think would be a mistake. But i really think Leftwich would be a good fit for you guys with the addition of a couple other players.
