so just watching a little news tongiht on channel 8 here in columbus.....

Aparently Columbus Police are thinking about issuing a warrent for Prescott Burgess' s (Prescottt is Michigan starting LB) arrrest for something that might have happened when Prescott was 14 years old. He might have taken a CD from a store then SUN TV in colmbus and aparently have known about it for awhile but have just now decided to press charges....Now if they follow through with this the second that Prescott gets off the bus in Columbus for the big game he will be arressted

this is the dumbest thing that I have ever heard in my life.....not only will prescott get though this and be able to play but now i think you are poking a bear with a stick....keep poking columbus


We are coming....with some bad intentions and this is just adding fuel to the fire and god I cant wait for the game


if you remeber correctly it was the last time we came to Columbus for the game that the police stopped us in the parking lot and searched our bags with drug sniffing dogs that held us up for a few hours and NOW we get this bullshit


its so ridiculous that it is laughable.....BUT I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP....get a grip buckeyes


Just know that Michigan will not stoop to your silly crap and we will show up on the 18th ready t play and we will be in a bad mood

isnt there a statue of limitations on petty crimes? the CD couldnt be worth more then $15 bucks, there would be to many holes in the argument, and you cant arrest someone for stealing 6-7 years after the fact.

James...I am on Rivals and Scout Michigan sites and we are all tring to figure out about the SOL thing...from what I gather is they are trying to figure out whether or not to file the charges that they decided not to file 8 or 9 years ago.....aparently they still can but the mods who run the site are contacting the police and trying to get more word but as far a they know this is the real deal but the arresst warrent is not out yet they are deciding what to do right now

I also know that the people who have talked to Burgess and Team officals namley the mods of Rivlas and Scout are saying that first off that the team is very upset with Fox 28 the news that reported this crap even though they apprently knew that nothing could be done

and 2 that Prescott is "foaming at teh mouth" now waiting to play the buckeyes

like I siad buckeyes just gave a nasty defense something ot get more upset about...

George quit re-writing history. They weren't drug sniffing dogs(although they probably should've been)....they were bomb sniffing dogs. The same bomb sniffing dogs that searched every other bus and truck that day for security reasons. And do you honestly expect anyone to believe that they were stopped for A FEW HOURS while their bus was searched???

Stop embarrassing yourself, quit your whining, and start praying....Michigan is going to need it. If this is what Michigan is worried about leading up to one of their biggest games ever then the Buckeyes should win easy.

The way I understood it, Burgess has an outstanding warrant in Franklin County. So its not a question of them deciding to issue a warrant before the game or press charges, its an issue of them deciding to enforce the warrant when he arrives in Franklin County. Statute of Limitations would not be an issue because it appears that charges had already been pressed and a warrant had already been issued. The warrant appears to have been outstanding since Burgess was 14. So its not like this is something that just materialized for the upcoming game, its been going on for sometime.

and if there were ever a need for drug sniffing dogs I can say that the OSU bus should be the one being searched not UM.....

and your comment about Michigan being worried .....well I am sure someone checked into it considering that Burgess is a starter and the news was that he would be arrested when he showed up....does that mean they are scared ?? no
