when he become so new york

I don't think he comes back for a couple reasons... 1. By the time his contract is up, the Cavs should be fully entrenched with a completely different team, era and situation... Right now we're still associated with LeBron, but by that time the move-on will be so far gone.... Sorta like Vince Carter-- I don't see him going back to Toronto, he doesn't want it nor do the fans and it doesn't make any sense.. 2. LeBron will either look to remain in Miami or still look to make a splash and he will not make a splash in coming back to Cleveland... It will be a cute story, but for a person who has a narcissistic personality disorder, it just doesn't fill the need... So IMO the goal would probably be to hitch onto one of the coasts, whichever one is bigger at that moment...

And ultimately, I don't think the reception would be a warming one here, so why would he even want to do it at that point ?

I highly doubt people would boo him or something. Cleveland fans (and probably all fans) in the end are sheep, I think. (as a mass- if you're on this forum, you're a much more dedicated/hardcore/knowledeable fan than 90% of them, I imagine). Say we had a good young team and some cap space that year, I could see him coming back. People would be like "oh, now we're a LOCK to win the title!" and jump on the wagon again.

In some cases... Thome/Manny... People welcoming them back as well are stupid IMO, but they would...

Modell and LeBron are exceptions to the rule however...LeBron took it to another level with how he left and on principle alone will always be hated...

I guess I'll have to see it to believe it.

Kinda like him leaving in the first place...:chuckles:

Carmelo was like 7 years old when he left New York, that ain't no homecoming.

Looks like the guy closed his account. lol.

I already predicted he comes back. I'm sticking to it.

It's not about me wanting him back or not wanting him back, either. Six years is a long time. I'll tell you how I feel then.

Ask Browns fans how they still remember The Drive and The Fumble. Or Cavs fans about The Shot. After all these years, they still sting. The Decision will be no exception.

Point?

I remain skeptical on if he came back in 6 years whether people would BOO the guy or what. Just don't see it.

My point is that Cleveland fans are not as forgiving as you think. Especially not with LeBron. Time is not going to heal what he did. I dont want Boozer back and what he did was nothing compared to LeBron.

If he were to want to come back, then he would need to kiss A LOT of Cleveland dick, and not just do some shitty press release. Do you really think Bron is the type to publicly lessen himself? He called himself a fucking king, and refers to himself in third person.

I think they're far from forgiving.

I just think most of them are sheep, too.

How old are you? I don't know, but if you're older, are you the same person you were at age 25? Do you think you will be the same person six years from now?

Making assumptions based on how you feel now is ridiculous. James comes off as a narcissistic douche right now, but in 6 years the guy could be full of regret. I know, evil concept for me to bring up right now, but it's true.

You really think LeBron is going to magically change his mind about his decision in six years? You realize that if they win a championship - and lets be honest, they probably are - that LeBron will all of a sudden realize he fucked over Cleveland? Listen dude, he knows. He might not have been smart enough to realize the full repercussions of his actions, but he knew how much leaving meant to us. And he did it anyway. He's already stated numerous times he has no regrets in how he handled things, you really think he is going to have some out-of-the-blue moral obligation to Cleveland? No. This guy has been a narcissistic douche since his name started to make the papers. He may try - after winning a championship(s) in Miami - to do some story-book homecoming, but there is no way fucking way our Front Office takes this guy, Dan Gilbert or not. he is never going to be able to dislodge his head from his ass, and the knife out of Clevelands back. He knows it, Cleveland knows it, accept it and realize that LeBron James will not put on a Cavs jersey again. The only reason they would consider it was if he was the same caliber player he is now, but hes going to 31 with fucked up knees, thats not going to happen. I'm sure he'll change by the time he's 31, but its not like hes going to turn into fucking buddha. He'll be 6 years removed from ripping the heart out of Cavalier fans, sitting on a beach probably with half his shit gone from his divorce with Savannah and a beautiful case of herpes. And he'll still be smiling.
