Carmelo Anthony- I'm Coming Home

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You really think LeBron is going to magically change his mind about his decision in six years? You realize that if they win a championship - and lets be honest, they probably are - that LeBron will all of a sudden realize he fucked over Cleveland? Listen dude, he knows. He might not have been smart enough to realize the full repercussions of his actions, but he knew how much leaving meant to us. And he did it anyway. He's already stated numerous times he has no regrets in how he handled things, you really think he is going to have some out-of-the-blue moral obligation to Cleveland? No. This guy has been a narcissistic douche since his name started to make the papers. He may try - after winning a championship(s) in Miami - to do some story-book homecoming, but there is no way fucking way our Front Office takes this guy, Dan Gilbert or not. he is never going to be able to dislodge his head from his ass, and the knife out of Clevelands back. He knows it, Cleveland knows it, accept it and realize that LeBron James will not put on a Cavs jersey again. The only reason they would consider it was if he was the same caliber player he is now, but hes going to 31 with fucked up knees, thats not going to happen. I'm sure he'll change by the time he's 31, but its not like hes going to turn into fucking buddha. He'll be 6 years removed from ripping the heart out of Cavalier fans, sitting on a beach probably with half his shit gone from his divorce with Savannah and a beautiful case of herpes. And he'll still be smiling.

Probably.

But I don't like playing Nostradumbass.

If Cav's take that douche bag again, I will be fucking disappointed. We don't need him, especially when he is out of his prime at 32 years of age.

He will never be forgiven for what he did, I hope he never wins a championship!

Is this it?

You know Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, NY but grew up in North Carolina. You don't see him clamming he is from NY.

Is this it?

No, it was a short 30 second promo with the melancholy part of the song and it ended with "Melo! Melo!" chants.

LeBron come back? To play for the guy that said he quit on us? To play in front of the fans that chanted "Akron hates you" and "Delonte?" To play for a team without two of his best buddies that he hopes can carry his choking ass to a title?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I agree with the people saying Melo is from Baltimore. He was always talking about how he was such a Baltimore gangsta. Now all the sudden he's a New Yorker.

Sounds funny right now, but we'll see.

Pretty sure Diddy did it before J. Cole, but either way it's relatively old. But it still fits in beautifully for the situation and the chants of "Melllllooooo, Mellllllloooooo" just reinforce that. Nice

Negative, J. Cole made it first as a reference track for P "i suck at rapping" diddy

on topic: fuck lebron id rather take a suppository than welcome him back.

Gotta agree with everyone else here man..

Him coming back would take either him or Gilbert taking a step back from their egos, which I really don't see happening..

A prediction is a bit different from typing out a raging paragraph about some guy and how he will feel in 6 years.

Ok?

OK I'll strip all the sarcasm out of that post and give you the thesis of it. "LeBron James will not put on a Cavs jersey again." There, that wasn't so hard. Now tell me how I'm playing 'nostradumbass' and you are not.

I don't think LeBron will ever come back, at not as long as DG is the owner. I do believe, however that he will play for a team other than the Heat when his current deal expires.

Look people forgive people, it's what life is about. People make mistakes, it doesn't mean you have to hold it against them for the rest of their life. Byron Scott forgave Baron. So who knows. For the song, I thought the same thing about Lebron. It almost gives you that sinking feeling in your stomach, when you want something to happen, but you know in heart of hearts it will not. But in some messed up world, if Lebron would somehow make his way back here, that song undoubtfully has to be played at the Q his first game back.

PS I wonder what Lebron is thinking when he hears this song?

This is clearly an issue very close to your heart judging by how offended you are acting. :chuckles: For the record, the Nostradumbass comment was me saying I don't like making passionate predictions about what other people are thinking or will be thinking 6 years from now because I would end up looking like a dumbass. I accept there is a possibility he won't come back- obviously. It's not like I'm counting on him coming back, it's just a hunch I have. Personally, I'm thinking he finds his way back here somehow. You are hell bent on the fact that he is not ever coming back, no way, no possibility, and as you say that you are clearly raging like crazy.

Chill it. There's no need. All of us were hurt by James, but for fuck's sake, it's 8 months later. We should be able to talk about the guy rationally at this point.
