If Deron Williams forces his way out of Brooklyn, I would think it could represent a full tear down and restart. But that may mean trading Joe Johnson not strictly as a salary dump but expecting young assets and decent draft picks in return.

For a 34 year old making 24 million dollars this year?

I don't think so.

Brooklyn isn't getting any assets for Joe Johnson outside of some 2nd round picks. Hibbert barely got anything back for Indiana and he's a better player.

My best friend lives up in Scotland. Absolutely crazy what he has to do to watch some games. Dude has a family and all and will wake up at 3AM if it means he can watch a Cavs game.
Scotland is i guess 1 hour behind Bosnia, because UK is different time zone so if we (Cleveland Cavaliers) played games in West it would be 3AM or 4AM and in the East it's 1AM or 2AM and when is time changing it would be at midnight here.

I had to go to classes and exams after games with no sleeping at all, and than other 2 years it was job and it's fucking crazy to be concentrate at work.

The most frustrating things were streams and how to find them because we was not popular and there was only few streams of Fox Ohio but thanks to that i literally watched all our games.

Last year (season) we were contenders and it was possible to catch good streams so i didn't missed single game in the season.

Someone is blessed to have posibility to watch games of team that he love, but i needed to do a lot of effort to be able to do that, and than someone just come here saying that we are not real fans because we are outside of Ohio? It's ridiculous.

I can't believe I just read eight pages of this thinking something may have happened overnight. I really, really wish this was an interesting argument. Maybe two pages worth, but at this point it's time to stop responding and move on with our lives.

Or at least argue about something different.

Obviously the heavy bias(Since he is one of LeBron's guys) will be toward Jones from a Cavs perspective.

But if the Cavs had the option of adding one of:

Caron Butler
Tayshaun Prince
James Jones

Which would you pick and why?

Those are ugly choices...:(

Does DJ returning to LA effect the chances of Jamal Crawford being traded? Or is balmer like the dan Gilbert of the west?
Ballmer is the most wealthy owner in the NBA I believe....I think around 2-3x higher net worth than Gilbert

Doug Gottlieb mentioned this on the Fan a few minutes ago:

@FansMorningShow
.@GottliebShow on the show just now--"Deron Williams Wanting To Leave For Dallas Leads Me To Believe That Joe Johnson Ends Up In Cleveland"

not sure how he comes to that conclusion. wouldn't a Deron Williams buy-out (/stretching his contract) make it more unlikely that Joe ends up here (Brooklyn would save a lot of money by stretching Williams)? unless Johnson seeks a buy-out as well (man would that be great :chuckle:). on a side note, what the heck is Brooklyn doing, why are they trying to get worse? Boston has their unprotected picks in 2016+18 (and can swap picks in 2017), that KG+Pierce trade might end up as one of the worst in NBA history

Awesome childhood memory: 1989(?) Lord of the Flies movie comes out. My English teacher takes us all to the movies to see it after we had read the book in class. Almost a full theater, the light dim, a kid in my class announces to the theater: "Piggy is going to die everyone, it's a metaphor." Good times good times.

Am I in the minority that I'd like to see the Joe Johnson trade + re-signing J.R? The more shooters off the bench, the better, IMO.

F James/Johnson/Miller
F Love/Stoudemire/Jones
C Mozgov/Thompson/Christmas
G Shumpert/Smith/Harris
G Irving/Williams/Dellavedova

Anybody who thinks people outside of Ohio are not 'real' fans probably doesn't know about @CavsSimmy

But in all seriousness, it's very easy for an 'out-of-tower' to be a Lakers "fan" or a Heat "fan." But to be a Cleveland sports fan? That's a special breed of people who live and die for their teams. And even though I only formally stepped foot in the state of Ohio this year (which admittedly brought me closer emotionally to the city than ever before), that deep-seeded connection that continued to grow each year prior made me feel as great a fan as anyone who visits The Q 41 times each season.

I had to pay my dues on this forum when I first arrived - often feeling a sense of obligation to prove with backdated tweets and the like that my join date didn't reflect the length of time I had supported this team. But that's not necessary for everyone. For me, it doesn't matter if you started following the Cavs today. As long as on the day that you die, you die a Cleveland Cavaliers fan. It's as simple as that.

Also, a little OT, but...

There's a Cavs fan on Twitter that I really like, but he also happens to believe that Sam The Bullshit Whisperer is the best Cavs reporter out there. How can I help him?

So, I say the forum is getting bad, because of all these bad posts and my post gets deleted, but you leave up all these bad posts that have nothing to do with this thread, or anything really? That makes no sense.
