Irving/Mo/Delly
Shump/JR/Harris
LeBron/Jefferson
Love/Thompson/Jones
Mozgov/Varejao/Kaun

Plus two TPE's to see whats out there during the season would be very good. Just last year if we were in the spot we could have probably added Corey Brewer or JR Smith to get another depth wing. Surely there will be a team out there looking to dump a wing at some point again.

Yes but it's not my rich man's money!

I wonder if Crawford is the guy we're looking at......not sure how thrilled I would be about that.

I just dont like crawford. At 36 its not an "off year" its a decline.

Basketball players dont find the fountain of youth in their mid to late 30's.

I am hoping it is McLemore, but i dont see us having the assets.

Henry Walker released by MIA. CLE should consider adding him as young-ish backup wing who can be had on vet minimum. Definite upgrade over Harris who could actually play if needed.

I'd at least kick the tires on him.

He's a solid shooter (36% on 4 catch and shoot 3PT attempts per game) and an above average defender.

He does have an injured ankle though, so I'm not sure what his health status is.

Get off yer vacation Griff and go get him!

From the little I know or remember of Henry Walker, he's a chucker that launches 3s at a high rate and started the season hot, and then could not hit anything... for months (probably around low 30s percentage on a high number of attempts per minute played).

His 3PT splits got better as the season progressed.

February: 11/35 (31.4% 3PT, 47.3% TS)
March: 27/79 (34.2%3PT, 49.6% TS)
April: 7/18 (38.9%3PT, 54.7% TS)

Those are decent numbers for a reserve guy who can give you 10-12 minutes off the bench.

He wouldn't be my first choice but shot selection is one of the easiest things you can get a player to improve on IMO. Especially with the bench as a motivator. Given how thin we are at SF, a young body who can give us 10-12 decent minutes sounds like a great regular season insurance policy to me. I don't really view him as someone who would contribute in a shortened playoff rotation but someone who can cut LBJ's minutes? Sure.

Bill Walker, formerly of Cincinnati and WV and all of OJ Mayos travel AAU squads is not going to give much. For 12-15 minutes, he's not as good a fit as Jefferson.

He only played 24 games last year for the Heat after two years out of the NBA.

I mean, I'm not going to be upset if they give him an ungauranteed contract to come to camp, but he's not anything to get excited about or project as an upgrade over Jefferson.

I am happy to have RJ and Mo, but I still feel kind of uncomfortable even when we re-sign JR and TT. I understand the whole TPE situation, but I really wish we could have added someone better. I really do believe David Griffin turned every stone but I was just wishing something bigger would come up. Hopefully Kaun officially comes over.

Available Small Fowards

Dorell Wright, Mike Miller (once waived), Michael Beasley, Tayshaun Prince, Rasual Butler, Landry Fields, Shawne Williams, Austin Daye, Luc Mbah a Moute (failed physical), Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, Chris Singleton, Carlos Delfino, Mickael Pietrus, Travis Wear, Robbie Hummel

Not sure we're even in the market for FAs anymore after signing RJ.

I'm hoping the guys you bolded aren't guys you want them to sign or think will make any impact at all...what an awful group of scrubs/injury prone players/over-the-hill players.

Yea, not much to get excited about. Also, Miller can't re-sign here until next off-season.

I'm hoping we could add a player or 2 much better with our TPEs.

Not that I'm clammoring to get Miller back, but I still don't understand why they made this a rule in the current CBA. The receiving team still has the right to decide to buyout the player, 28 other teams still have the right to make offers to said player as a free agent, and the player can still choose where he wants sign from the available offers. As long as this all works under salary cap rules...if the player wants to sign with the team that originally traded him, then what's the big deal? There's no injustice, no one's getting screwed here and this can be done without collusion.

Why would anyone grade this as funny? The guy was drafted back in 2008 and has spent more time in the past 3 years in the D-League than the NBA. Despite being a solid 3 point shooter for a few months he shot a combined 35% from the field in his whopping 24 games last year.

@MirORich is absolutely correct... give the guy an unguaranteed contract to come to camp if anything, but to fully commit to him on a guaranteed contract... Why?! And no, he's not an upgrade over Richard Jefferson, even at 35 years old.

Reading the reports around the TPE trade, I got the impression that the FO wanted to wait until the trade deadline or even next offseason to use that TPE. We'll see though.

I am hoping we stay healthy, win the Ship with the current roster and use the TPE's next offseason.
