If I'm Danny Ferry, I'm looking at how to make Z-Bo the center piece of an (wait for it.....) 8-TEAM MEHHHHGA TRADE!!!!!
Anyway, if this were to come to fruition, I can really see some sort of scenario where maybe we trade with the Knicks as part of a three-team trade (Danny's faves). If Detroit's involved, maybe they're looking to move Sheed for Z-Bo. But maybe Sheed will be pissed he's going to the Knicks (like he was when he was traded to the Hawks, only to be traded to the Pistons). So we step in and offer Wally and a 1st or something to get Sheed...
(I'll put down the j-bird...haha)
Z-Bo is a realistic option and if the frontcourt looks thin this year, then the FO should look into it, but only if Lee or a pick is coming back because you are doing a HUGE service for the Knicks. I don't want to say that bringing in Zach Randolph will be the worst thing ever, I mean Sheed became a real player when he left the Jail Blazers, so you never know if a guy just needs to be with a winner. It's a realistic, risky option. But I will say this about the Sheed angle of dealing for a "cancer".... Sheed is probably holding back the Pistons at this point in his career because of his mentality (I can turn it on whenever...) and because he's getting up there (taken in the 95 draft behind smilin' Joe Smith) so you never know how long the honeymoon will last...
"I wish it could we could be together forever, Joe"
That's all I will say on the Z-Bo topic...for now. And if we want to stop talking about insane trades, can we stop with the Al HArrington talk??
