Cavaliers supposedly monitoring Zach Randolph

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If I'm Danny Ferry, I'm looking at how to make Z-Bo the center piece of an (wait for it.....) 8-TEAM MEHHHHGA TRADE!!!!!

Anyway, if this were to come to fruition, I can really see some sort of scenario where maybe we trade with the Knicks as part of a three-team trade (Danny's faves). If Detroit's involved, maybe they're looking to move Sheed for Z-Bo. But maybe Sheed will be pissed he's going to the Knicks (like he was when he was traded to the Hawks, only to be traded to the Pistons). So we step in and offer Wally and a 1st or something to get Sheed...

(I'll put down the j-bird...haha)

Z-Bo is a realistic option and if the frontcourt looks thin this year, then the FO should look into it, but only if Lee or a pick is coming back because you are doing a HUGE service for the Knicks. I don't want to say that bringing in Zach Randolph will be the worst thing ever, I mean Sheed became a real player when he left the Jail Blazers, so you never know if a guy just needs to be with a winner. It's a realistic, risky option. But I will say this about the Sheed angle of dealing for a "cancer".... Sheed is probably holding back the Pistons at this point in his career because of his mentality (I can turn it on whenever...) and because he's getting up there (taken in the 95 draft behind smilin' Joe Smith) so you never know how long the honeymoon will last...

"I wish it could we could be together forever, Joe"

That's all I will say on the Z-Bo topic...for now. And if we want to stop talking about insane trades, can we stop with the Al HArrington talk??

You do not trade for "CANCER." Yeah, he's got good stats, but the intangibles are simply too great against him.. Let's not get thirsty people. We are in good position come the trade deadline - but let's not forget the free agency come 2010! We could become the greatest franchise in NBA history with the right acquisitions over the next 24 months.

And since no one has posted this already, I give you "CANCER" in all it's glory:

We don't need this on our team. Never Forget Laura Hughes!

I will admit this video is bad, really bad. BUT the thing nobody every mentioned is that he is trying to get a 2 for 1 there. Look at the clock. I know it's still awful, but the coach probably said get 2 for 1 there.

I know this isn't to the same degree as Zach, but when Mo rumors popped up, a lot of people said he was a "cancer" too. Now EVERYONE is happy he is here.

Everyone in the league thinks Zach is a cancer though. Wasn't even close to that for Mo.

I honestly don't see this happening one bit. I wish this thread would close.

Gross, Zach Randolph is Drew Gooden with a scorers mentality, and he's probably even worse defensively than Gooden.

I'd gladly do the Vince Carter trade if the other option is Zach.

You can keep showing that mark ass clip all you want Randolph is just what the Dr. ordered.

Ferry knows it and so do all the solid basketball minds on this board.

if Dumars is trying to get em,you better believe we will jump on it first especially for Ben Wallace.

The Cavs are the type of team that Zach has needed to be apart of.

He came into the league in a bad situation.

Tom Izzo scouted this guy, he was a true freshman on that Championship Spartans team.

Then he was drafted to the jail blazers..... fixed his image a litte then was traded to a even more disfunctional team, and was forced to play outside because of Eddy CurryChicken clogging the paint.

you dudes who doubt are to media driven...oh Randolph is a headcase bull shit.........we trying to win a championship.

For those who miss Drew, Zach is everything we wanted from Gooden, and all we lost in boozer.

1.higher b-ball IQ
2.more toughest
3.more talent
4.and he stays healthy, like goods always managed to do
5.he is actually intimidating.
6.he is left handed, that is is gonna throw KG for a serious loop.
7.Tom Izzo product,nough said.

If Peirce can play D Zach can.

1.higher b-ball IQ

Than Gooden, thats not saying a damn thing

2.more toughest

maybe you mean more tougher, in which case just saying tougher would eliminate the need to say more... more smarter instead of smarter for ex. but anyway... what is tough in basketball??? would you say physically tough or mentally tough, because presently I think both our pf/c are mentally and physically tough enough to endure a 82

3.more talent

what are you basing this on...

4.and he stays healthy, like goods always managed to do

again, there is physical and mental... physically he's on the court... mentally, he hasnt joined the nba yet

5.he is actually intimidating.

thats because you are easily scared... looks like a teddy bear to me

6.he is left handed, that is is gonna throw KG for a serious loop...

Delonte West is left handed as well, that doesnt mean he should have got a 17million contract this summer

7.Tom Izzo product,nough said.

Dont say that the year after we gave up on shannon brown. I dont want any spartans for another 10 drafts

If Peirce can play D Zach can.

Pierce flopped all series and when Bron finally caem out of his self induced funk, he wiped his ass with Pierce to teh tune of 45, unfortunately, Pierce was in the ass wiping mode as well, but thats another rant

I hope the bold text can help you sleep better as we run away with the central division and NY rots in bball hell with those terrible contracts. This guy would have to grow 5 inches, loose 20 lbs, become the first nba player to also be a full-time preacher, and spend his entire seasons salary on Quicken Loans stock before this organization really considered compromising our future flexibility for a chance to baby sit this dude.

Hey now, nobody gave you permission to post outside of the Obama thread! Just who do you think you are bringing that liberal swagger into this thread? You then go on to blast Cleveland legend Larry Hughes? Just terrble as Barkley would say.

Somebody had to stop the Zach Randolph madness before we all end up wondering why our PF is sitting in County jail 5 days before the start of the Playoffs..

...(cough...gobama)...

Whoa subliminal message there. Any way i'd do the trade if and only if they included an unprotected 1st rounder. Then i'd just hope the Knicks crashed and burned without ZR and we got the first overall. Anyway we might not even have to take ZR because as someone mentioned Ferry loves the three team trade.

how about ben for lee and a 1st

we dont have to deal with randolph and get lee. Then the knicks suck like always and get the 1st overall pick. How nice would that be

And WHY would the Knicks consider Lee for Wallace? How would the salaries work out in this trade? Why wouldn't they demand receiving a pick in return, nonetheless not give up a high 1st rounder?

We need more than one big to fill the void of our old frontcourt, and the salaries wouldn't match. Plus the Knicks wouldn't give us lee and a pick for just BW.

i would definitely do wally=zach+lee.......yall act like wally is all that......we aren't going to get wally for al jefferson,emeka,etc..........zach has talent as well as lee......how can you pass on that

if we do that trade we have championship(s) before 2010 FA.....also zach is still kind of young
