He needs to commit to the Cavaliers, make his pitch to Bosh, sit back, and watch the pieces fall in place.
Lebron has waited 3 years for this...most teams in the league have been making deals for the last 2 years just to be in the position - the ability to potentially sign Lebron James/Superstar Free Agent
This is a brilliant strategic move...Lebron has 3 teams (Chicago, NY, and Miami) praying, pleading, and doing everything they can to sign him. That will not happen (my opinion).
When he ultimately signs with the Cavs and brings a superstar along (Bosh/Paul/Johnson/whomever) he will have set in motion a potential dynasty in Cleveland.
Lebron is an attention whore, however, I believe that he knows what bringing a title to Cleveland would do for this city and for his legacy - He knows that he can't win it alone, or at least with the level of talent we currently have on this team. Think of every single, "Why Would The Best Basketball Player In The World Want To Possibly Stay In Cleveland," articles - If Lebron stays in Cleveland, everyone of the ESPN Analysts will have to take a new stance on Cleveland when it is clear that a dynasty is fast approaching...
Lebron won't tip his hand, there is no reason to. he will enjoy the festivities of free agency, because once he re-signs the real party can begin. I just worry for the ones who say, "LBJ is GONE" because I hope you're not on the guest list
have faith - with Gilbert & Lebron Anything is Possible.
