Cavs Season Ticket Renewals/Pricing

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They have (seemingly) been artificially lowering prices by flooding flash seats with additional tickets at the last minute. Which caused people to wait longer for those deals to pop up, which meant less higher dollar sales earlier.

I'm guessing they are gonna cut out that practice.

I've heard on these pages that they do this, but I've not seen any confirmation or proof of this. What I am aware of are the Cavs releasing flash seats at the last minute via email or now via their next text software, but so far for upper deck corners.

What is your source that the Cavs releast last minute seats on flash seats? I have lower bowl sides and pretty much know which seats the Cavs own and sell at the last minute, but have not seen them for sale on flash seats.

Same here. I sold off a decent number of my tickets because there's no way I could make it to all 22 games in my package with a baby in the house.

But the whole point anyway was to lock in those playoff tickets. Man, when we were in the playoffs last time Bron was here, if you got tickets at double face value, you got a serious steal. Year we went to the Finals, the cheapest Flash Seats prices were around $300 for Loudville. Crept up into the thousands for lower bowl.

What percent of your seats have you sold? I assume the Cavs have not hassled you? I'm just trying to clear up what I believe is some confusion about what the Cavs are really trying to deter, which is selling seats on a third party forum other than flash seats, which is contrary to the agreement with the Cavs. There is no language that prevents selling on flash seats or for a given price. In fact, the Cavs heavily promote selling on flash seats. I'm thinking that those who post here about the Cavs allegedly coming down hard on those who sell on flash seats (for either selling too many games or for too high a price) may just be repeating an urban myth, maybe started by those with unclean agendas (i.e., those trying to buy tickets for a cheaper price, including ticketbrokers), rather than reporting reality. (I'm sure brokers buy seats on flash seats). Maybe there is an isolated incident or so for those who are new season ticketholders only after LeBron returned who list every game (i.e., brokers), but I can't see this holding true for those who have been ticketholders for years, including during the recent awful four year stretch.

Like I've said, I've never heard a peep for selling on flash seats.

I had my rep tell me in an email that if you sell or transfer an inordinate amount of your tickets, your account will be locked. I told him my reasoning for transferring or selling a large-ish portion of my tickets (I have shared or sold a little over half of my games to friends and family or on Flash Seats), and he said that since I did so ahead of time, he'd make sure my account didn't get locked.

So that part is not an urban myth.
