Usually when a QB plays as bad as Kizer they don't get to start like 14 games. The problem is that our coach is so bad that all our QBs look like shit regardless of who the starter is, so might as well roll with Kizer.

Quote all you want. I completely own anything I've said here. I never said anything other than that I hoped Kizer could get it together but I always said if he didn't we'd need to draft a QB with the top pick. I always said it was less and less likely as we got deeper into the season with him continuing to fail. Learn how to read and comprehend.

At no point did I ever say we shouldn't draft a QB if Kizer continued to suck at record breaking, epic levels the way he has all season.

Check out Terry Bradshaw's rookie year. He only started 8 out of 14 games, but..... 38%, 6tds, 24 ints.
A different time, but his stats never got really good. That said, Kizer has been horrible. I look for him to be 3 next year behind a veteran and the draft pick.

Terry Bradshaw is the most overrated quarterback of all time.

He’s in the Hall of Fame because of the Steel Curtain, and Swann and Stallworth were some of the best the league has seen.

In fact, I put him on par with Rex Grossman.

If Grossman has that defense and those receivers, he also would’ve won Super Bowls. Hell, he almost did with that Bears defense.

Sure we want someone to say that they want to be the qb to change everything...but Jesus...we can't even get a GM and coach on the same page, how the hell are we going to create a good situation for a young qb.
I think Rosen is a little fragile, but he gets the ball out quickly and has a nice touch on his throws. Our offensive line is not bad and he will have to opportunity to make plays if he comes here.

I find it interesting to see people not blaming Rosen for not wanting to be here but also trashing the FO for not trading for Jimmy G who along with NE did not want to trade him here. So Jimmy G, BB, Don Yee, and NE didn't wanna trade Jimmy G to Cleveland and our FO sucks but Josh Rosen doesn't want to get drafted by Cleveland and it's "Can you blame him" ????

The only thing different about Rosen and the other quarterbacks we have brought in here, is none of them were supposed to be franchise quarterback’s. No matter where we took them in the draft none of them were supposed to be a franchise QB. Every QB we bring in seems to always have some type issue that needs to be worked out or they need to be developed.

It's not like Rosen is a lock to be a FQB either though. You can make a very strong case that he isn't.
