Commentary Thread - 2020 RCF NFL Mock Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The state of Wisconsin is rolling on the floor in a fetal position after that pick by Detroit...

Not sure who is the Packers GM but Aaron Rodgers is calling on line 2...
He is definitely not R-E-L-A-X-E-D.....

I think he is begging for a trade up to get O-line help... Otherwise Rodgers is looking to upgrade his health & life insurance..

Debated hard between him and Simmons but went with Simmons due to his versatility. Feel like both are can't miss though.
I've seen too many versatile, athletic linebackers fail to make an impact in the NFL. Even when they're good, they don't appear to have as much of an impact as a good DB.

Maybe I'm still reeling from how wrong I was about Dion Jordan.

I was expecting Miami to take Okudah. I had a write-up on a tackle ready to go.

Looking at the holes in Miami's roster, it seemed like a LB/S hybrid fills a greater need than CB, and I had the two on a similar tier so it was more or less a coin flip. I literally changed my mind and typed the other name between the two about five times before finally settling on Simmons.

Simmons is going to be much more valuable for a defense with a lot of holes in the middles and a creative DC. He’s not a guy that is the “final piece.” Fits the Dolphins perfectly.

Raiders are looking to trade back from 12 and 19. Won't take much.

Can someone explain to me the infatuation with Derrick Brown? He is huge and will undoubtedly be a great run stopper against traditional running games, but I have no idea how he is super effective against quick passing and outside zone teams.

He feels like a guy you take in the late first or early second and can then accurately tell your fan base that you found your starting defensive tackle for the next six years. Because he will be great against the inside running game, he will never make mistakes that upset fans and will probably get a few nice stuffs, which means fans will love him. I just do not know if that is the type of player you take in the top-ten?

To be fair, I almost would never support drafting a DT in the top-ten, so I am biased.

I cannot imagine a worst draft scenario for the Raiders.

If no one makes any offer within the next...hour or two I'm going to have a hard decision to make.

In real life, being in AZ, I also root for the cards.

if the Cards don’t take Wills if he’s on the board like they did in our draft, I’m going to be furious.
