Congrats to the 27 time WORLD CHAMPION NEW YORK YANKEES !!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pip why are you a Yankees fan anyway? If you're a Cavs Browns Indians fan too? I like the Yankees too, wouldnt call myself a fan, but if you like the Tribe too I don't think you'd be mocking the Tribe fans here...just saying.
My Grandfather, My Dad grew up in the Bronx before my Dad moved out to California...

It wasn't so much my Dad as it was my Grandfather who made sure I was a Yankees fan.. I've been going to Yankee games since 1984.. I was 2 years old when I went to my first game at Yankees stadium... Was a Yankees fan long before they started winning titles... Mattingly, Rickey, Winfield in the 80's... Roberto Kelly in the late 80's/early 90's.. My Grandfather, Dad and myself were always at Yankee games during the summers and when the Yankees would come out to Oakland/Anaheim etc...

In fact, I was a Yankees fan long before I was an Indians fan... I actually went to my first Indians game in 1992 at the old stadium.. If anything, I'm probably more of a front running Indians fan because I really began to follow them just before they moved into the Jake...

It's not so much as mocking Tribe fans as it is the fans who don't know me, but act like they do...:chuckles:

See I can respect that...nobody should give you shit for being an NY fan if all that is true.

Plus you're a Tribe fan still, so I love you still.

Yankees are the arch enemy of Boston. We should embrace them...sometimes.

Props, same here Pip.

Those were the tough times that most young fans (or those with short term memories) can't relate to. I was such a fiend as a little kid I'd grab my Bat Day Yankee bat and go through the motions right along with our hitters.

I'd do Rickey's lean, Donnie's toe tap, Baylor's straight up stance (and cringe along with him when ever he got hit by the ball for the millionth time), hell I'd even throw my bat like Winfield on a wild swing when I played outside.

I can remember telling kids in grade school that Dan Pasqua was going to be a legend (lol) and meeting Mike Pagliarulo @ Macy's with my moms and shaking his hand. I'm a Yankee fan through and through but I keep that under wraps on this site for the most part because I know I'm in enemy territory lol.

Aroldis Chapman? Funny enough his name was brought up not too long ago on the Michael Kay show and it seems like the front office/scouts have secretly had their eye on him. Not sure how committed they are to bring him over though, but duke is definitely a beast.
