We all saw it coming. So we basically traded the prospects we traded for him for the prospects we get (assuming we are getting prospect(s).

EDIT: He went for Chris Perez and a player to be named later. Perez has a 4.18 ERA with 30 strike outs in 23 innings.

That's just fan-f$$$ingtastic. We get more for Casey Blake last year, who didn't quite have DeRosa's numbers. What a travesty. Hoynesie should ask Shapiro if St. Louis offered a supply of baseballs for the remainder of the year so the Dolan's could save some more money this year.

When the Indians and Cardinals were ESPN the analysts where raving about this kid and his potential. Hes suppose to become a very very good bullpen pitcher. Prospects come to die here it seems so hopefully he'll be alright.

I liked DeRosa but he deserves better than this trainwreck of a team. I thought there were like 10 teams beating down the door to get this guy? The best we can do is a average bullpen pitcher? The other player better be damn good.

He does look like Kenny Powers though so maybe he'll be able to get some people fucking out.
