It wouldn't be bad if we didn't have to rely on Xur to "stock" the weapon that we want to upgrade. Now mind you he is bringing a fair amount of them with him, so it's not that bad, but if he gets stuck in a loop again like he has recently with chest pieces, then it pretty much ruins any plans to upgrade.Yeah, I posted the same link above. I mean, if you have the option of turning in your maxed exotic for a newer version that you have to re-level up or keeping your maxed out version, then that's not bad and my original post earlier stands. What I thought was going on after reading your message was that all exotics were being reset and you had to hope Xur was there to offer the upgrade for your exotic and then be faced with the dilemma of leveling up again to get back to where it was originally or hope Xur would upgrade your exotic gear.
And Xur's shinning example of why putting the exotic upgrade path through him is a horrible idea, he has plan C for the second week.
Yeah I would have been a lot more pissed if he hadn't finally brought something besides armamentarium for the titan. Seriously, I think he brought that chest piece like 6 straight weeks.
I'm ready for the new raid. I've already ran the raid on hard 5 times this week, 2 of the runs we didn't wipe a single time outside of gorgons. At this point I've maxed out nearly every raid weapon, so unless I randomly luck into the ghallahorn or ice breaker I really have nothing to do outside of playing the raid or crucible (only things I really find fun at this point).
Shit, Monday night one of my buddies needed a 6th person to help complete the raid on hard. I got in there and there was one 30, two 29's, a 28 and a 27 (I'm a 30 myself). I really wasn't sure if it would be possible, but figured fuck it, why not see what happens? Lo and behold, it took us a good 3 hours but we pulled it off. Just goes to show that if everybody is experienced and knows what they are doing, you really don't need to have a full team of 30's to beat it on hard.
From the time I created a Warlock, until today, Xur always had Sunbreakers/chest armour. It was nearly 2 months I would guess.Yeah I would have been a lot more pissed if he hadn't finally brought something besides armamentarium for the titan.
