Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can't help you with all the shit you're taking.
Lavender/Chamomile/Frankincense/Sandalwood/Rose oil(s) work very well with the skin. But I'd suggest buying a non scented massage oil and adding a few drops to the bottle.

Massage itsself can help the skin look better. This would take a few sessions. But water consumption is the most important.

Did 4 400m repeaters yesterday. 1:16, 1:14, 1:24 and 1:16

Shit, if I could just do that over a mile... :chuckles:

Also ran 5k immediately after, then 10k this morning. If I were to keep running consistently longer distances, would I lose muscle mass if I still ate a lot of protein?

all depends on how much youre eating.. if you supply yourself with enough energy you wont lose anything. in fact if you supply yourself with more than enough energy (regardless of what youre burning off) youll get bigger

Somebody help me make a diet and workout plan where I lose fat but gain as much muscle as I can? I am a college student and I use the gym at CSU(they have everything). I'm awful about eating breakfast but I know it's the most important meal of the day. I never used whey protien when I worked out from before(every time I want to use protien my brother tells me not too) and another issue I had was I would workout but I felt weak before working out and never had energy during. Help!! Got a weeding to get ready for in a couple months.

Ps- dairy products don't really settle well with my stomach.

You should try it.If you're lactose intolerant, it's ideal. I am not, but I prefer organic soy (vanilla) rather than regular milk.

That means that Nicky is still able to have solid poops when she drinks regular milk.

As Dave said, if you're eating enough to support your energy expenditure, you won't lose anything. But if you're concerned about muscle mass, long-distance running is probably not the way to go (and I say this as a guy who does mostly distance running). I'm no expert on weight lifting, but as I understand it, you want to do fewer reps closer to your max if you're looking to add muscle. Same thing applies in running. Doing shorter distances at a faster pace is great for adding muscle, while doing longer distances at a slower pace is great for shedding fat and improving your aerobic endurance level.

Roughly speaking I'd say go 75/25 speed/long if you're trying to gain weight, 50/50 speed/long if you're already at your ideal weight, and 25/75 speed/long if you're trying to lose weight.

I'm going all from observation/experience here, so to those of you who have an actual education or professional background in this sort of stuff, do call me out if I'm completely wrong about anything. But it can't be a coincidence that most marathoners look like this:

and most sprinters look like this:

Age: 22 weight: 240 height: 6'. I guess it would be a good idea to lose some fat first then worry about adding muscle. So losing the fat I more important.

have some decent size, id be curious as to what your body fat percentage is. Do you have a tape measurer?

Anyways, Youre going to want to figure out your TDEE (there are calculators all over the web). This is the amount of calories you burn off in a day. If you eat this amount of calories you will not see any gain/loss.

Subtract 500 a day (through cardio or eating under your maintenance calories) you will lose 1lb a week. I would suggest 1000 a day.. 2 lbs is a decent amount of weight and you wont be killing yourself. 2 months from now youll be down about 20 lbs, which is significant.

I've measured around me waist and its said 44. 1000 calories seems tough.

1000 calorie deficit. Eating that daily would suck. so your TDEE is probably around 3500, so you can eat 2500 a day (or eat more and burn more off with cardio)
