Diet and Workout Routines

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Weighed in at 169lbs yesterday, started another EC stack today, feels good. Instead of coffee or caffeine pills, im using ON Amino Energy..gives 10g BCAA and 200mg caffeine while tasting like kool-aid at 20 calories...pretty ideal for a cut!

I also finally bought a lifting belt and some chalk. working on getting a hookup on a pair of Adipowers..really hope I can get them soon.

triple post DGAF

Winter is coming...

That means dark, thick beers for me. Gonna have to do a little more at the gym to balance it out :eek4dance:

Just crushed a few of my PRs this week. Finally have a decent routine that's fun for me. Still can't do a muscle up, but I am not deterred...

So I am sore. I refuse to take hgh or steroids. Heard good things about deer antler spray. Went to my health place. $110 for 30 uses. Gotta be a cheaper way than that, right?

soreness is your issue? are you eating/sleeping/drinking enough water? after a while you shouldnt be getting super sore from your workouts..its usually a sign you are under-resting

Also, my buddy started taking A-Drol (Anadrolone) "legal steroids". Anyone ever heard of it? http://prosbodybuilding.com/a-drol-review/ seems sketchy to me..hella side effects http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-53225/androlone-50-intramuscular/details/list-sideeffects

Do you have protein after your workout? It helps with muscle recovery/soreness.

^^ My post workout shake is carbmonster cultured dairy drink, water, 50g whey, some simple sugar (I have found this really makes a difference), and flax seed. I also try to put down a breakfast sandwich, then some coffee with butter and coconut oil. Then all day I will eat very little - a protein bar and beef jerky, then I eat a "solid" dinner, light on carbs usually.

It could be the rest thing. I mean, I have a 2 year old and another one due in less than a week. Sleep and working out don't always mix (sometimes I have to get up at 430 to get in the workout and parenting).

Water is probably the #1 culprit... I have to be more conscious about this.

Here's the thing: I don't even mind being sore for a day or two. It means that I broke down some muscle fiber to build it up stronger (i know, it's an oversimplification). It's just that it's now Friday and I am sore in my chest from Tuesday. I took today off (schedule conflict) and will just go back at it tomorrow regardless of my condition. I will drink more water and make sure that I am at least in bed by 10 and asleep by 11. I will report back.

Get some cheap ass fish oil pills at dollar store/drug store, and take a ton of them at night...shit is like oil for your joints and sore muscles.

nicky, i just dont get how you can throw all your effort and time expended in the gym with that diet.. do you subscribe more to the idea that you workout so you caneat what you want?

dr. dave prescribed himself 100mg of test prop on monday and thursday to fix his bum ass fucking arm. i think im good to go now. I will do some pull ups on the stairs in my cmplex to make sure.

btw I love when people in considerably worse shape than you give diet advice.

my theory is that diet soda is water, because its 99.999% of the ingredients. fat lady at a restaurant tells me thats not good. believe her. here, ask THIS guy, he works out every day, he would know.. This skinny fat guy comes up and is like. "whast going on?" she tells him. "uhhh I dont think he needs any advice from us."

Thank you skinny fat gay guy, you are one of the few good citizens with common sense that i've come across this week.

@David.

I haven't had a proper workout in about 2 months. So, it's not like I'm in the gym working out like crazy.

I do this 2x a year, when I just eat an insane amount of chocolate.

My theory is to workout to be able to eat what I want. I've run my course with the Reese's for awhile. I'm planning on getting lots of fruit. And then I'll get back into a workout routine.

how have you not had a proper workout as a personal trainer?

I said before that I'm not a personal trainer. I am more of a fitness coach with my first job. I can tell people the proper form and how to do the exercises, but I rarely do a full workout with them, unless they are new.

My second job is just front desk/membership. That came with a free gym membership, but I currently only work there 1 day a week, but my manager there is trying to get me more hours there. The second job is more stable and comes with a 401k and other benefits that my first job doesn't offer.

Honestly, the first job is dragging me down. You come across some very negative/unwilling people and it's a drag. But I do a lot of outdoor walking, because the first job is close to home, and it's not freezing yet.

My body is so out of whack lately..me and my gf broke up, my buddies wanna keep taking me out because of that, and im getting a cold

Shitty sleep habbits/stressed out cuz of the above..but still killin the weights sooo fuck it, i guess
