Id agree with this. What I think we should do is start him for about 10 games and see if he pulls his head out of his ass.

The starters finally seem like they're figuring out how to play with each other, so we're going to screw that up replacing Marion with ball-dominant Dion? And then deliberately feed him (as opposed to feeding the Big 3) in the hopes that he gets hot and goes off for 30? That's basically undoing everything the rest of the team has accomplished for the sake of one guy.

Realistically, the best hope for Dion is that Kyrie or LBJ goes down for 10 or so games. Because I don't see this coach deliberately sabotaging the starting lineup just to increase Dion's trade value.

Dion is looking so pathetic right now, his attitude is poison right now and I hope it doesn't spread. I really hope this isn't a tantrum because he isn't starting, at least if he's scrub it's because he can't help it, but if its a lack of effort because he isn't starting then he's a cancer and he needs to go.

Why not? Its only December now I don't think a few games early in the season is going to make or break our season. If u think about it in the East who are you really afraid of? I don't fear the raptors even though they are off to a fast start and Rose can't/won't stay healthy. With a healthy Lebron and top 3 seed in the conference we are taking it. I love Marion more then anyone on this board, but if you have to remove a cancer from your team sometimes you just have to make a few sacrifices.

"Miss, you have cancer in your lungs, so we're going to deliberately break your left arm and amputate your right leg in an attempt so see how much pain your body is caused by the cancer itself."

Dude needs an epiphany. A "Coming to Jesus" moment where he realizes he needs to play smarter. No one questions his talent. His attitude and low BB IQ condemns him to never be great.

He needs to earn a starting spot, know his role and play accordingly. Every game he has more touches than Love (which at this point is around 40% of the season) is an abomination.

Winning may be a cure for Dion. When the team is on a 9 game win streak and everyone else is gelling and having fun with each other out there on the floor, maybe he will wake up that he needs to quit acting like a bitch and elevate his game if he wants to be a part of that.

I think the problem with Dion is not in the locker room but in his mind. Like I said before, he needs see a psychologist. He thinks he is on the same level as Kyrie because he probably can hold his own (and probably more) in practice but that's way different than game situations. Practice is like playground. If you're a tough guy (and Dion is obvious a tough SOB), you can get a away with more shit and that's probably the case but in game situations, the refs are not gonna let you get away with playground shenanigans. He's sulking and pissed and always wants the ball because he wants to prove that he's just as capable. He has to realize that he's not being asked to carry the offensive load. He doesn't have to prove anything. Everyone knows what he can do. Just play smarter and if you want to play with something to prove, then you have better prove it or else you're gonna get a shit storm.

Everyone cringes at his step back 2's like they do when Josh Smith launches 3's. He should remove that shot from his arsenal completely and I think that step back game winning shot against Detroit last year may have done more damage than good.

I don't know how he's gonna do it, but Dion HAS to start finishing. Crying and yapping at the refs isn't doing anything. We have two of the best finishers at their positions in Kyrie and Lebron. Learn from them.

I feel Dion doesn't get calls because he bitches too much and the league doesn't like his attitude. Otherwise, there isn't much of an explanation when he gets hammered inside on a drive.

Like I said last week, just trying to think about Dion and all the things associated with him hurt my head. He's a complicated person and player.

Dion took only 5 shots tonight, played solid defense and we're on a 3 game winning streak yet people are still in here bitching. Typical Cleveland fan loser mentality. Always needing something to complain about even after a win. No one can ever just be happy

There is a reason good players are good. It isn't as simple as "learning to play smarter" a lot of people just don't have the bball IQ.

I have completely lost patience with Dion. His body language is just terrible. I used to think he cared about winning bit now I think he only cares about getting his. Would love Corey Brewer to take his minutes and use Dion to flip for a big. That is my dream. What a disappointment. His stubbornness is going to get his ass shipped out by Jan.

I've thought about posting this thought for a long time. Thanks Spencer Hawes. If there is anybody with any influence over him, the best thing they could do for him is to get him into shrinkage. He's a man physically, but a child emotionally. The last seconds of last night's game were so emblematic. Game over, but rather than let Cherry kill the clock, Dion waves for the ball and then turns the ball over on a drive that no mentally balanced player would ever think of making. Somehow he's managed to define his life as scoring the basketball. I thought for awhile that maybe playing with Lebron might convince him to change his ways, but his childish behavior is getting worse not better. He needs professional help. He needs to learn, and change his behavior accordingly, that his self-interest is not served by: (a) waving his arms to get someone to throw him the ball; (b) pouting on the bench; (c) complaining every time a call goes against him; (d) calling out a member of the team who doesn't cover his man on a switch (the list of selfish behaviors on the court could go on and on). Sad to see a young man self-destructing.

That's the problem. Everybody seems to embrace the winning and you can sense the body language of the team that they are excited about the development. Meanwhile, Dion is sticking out like a sore thumb because of his poor body language thay screams being malcontent.
