Dolan: Tribe will lose 16 million this year

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They also seem to be the only one with a once-in-a-lifetime player who fell into their laps through a draft lottery.

Gee it's amazing how good an owner looks when that happens.

Don't matter the Indians in the 90's were nuts. I would see Tribe gear everywhere.

Just like now, I see Cavs gear. The whole small market team is flawed because there's a shit ton of bandwagon fans that rode Jacob's Indians' dicks in the 90's.

The 90s indians also had a perfect storm, the cavs were avg-mediocre, and the browns didnt exist. Thats why the city was completely behind them... kind of the same for the Cavs... the browns suck and so do the indians.. and theyre not trying to sell out a 40,000 seat stadium

Although; the Cavs of last year and the Cavs of this year would probably sell out the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium of 70,000 plus with no problem. :).. big o'l beams/posts in front of you hiding the floor and all.

I also think that the luck of the draw that the Indians had with drafting was amazing. At least half of those contributers came up through the Canton-Akron Indians. I cant think of them all, but I watched Manny, Thome, Nagy, Giles, Belle, Colon and Casey. To have many of those guys come up through your minor leagues is amazing. It doesnt come very often that many minor leaguers will all come up together and play on the same major league club and be that good. Kind of like the Dodgers are experiencing right now with Ethier, Loney, Russell,....
