Dream Team 4: Golden State Warriors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
no excuse for last night. but the warriors have been 100% healthy for basically the last 1.25 seasons. the cavs have had maybe a third of a season, and not at all this season. Its been said 1000 times this cavs team as long as they are healthy can match up to the warriors.

in fact i dont care if the warriors win 73+, i actually hope it happens. Because every game they win is going to be just a bit more motivation for lebron.

healthy cavs team with a motivated lebron vs a 73 win warriors team. i know where i would put my money (hint not on the warriors)

Really? Cause I'm picking any team that wins 73 games over any other team.

I just love how many people are willing to underestimate LeBron James with a full deck in his hands.

It's like almost a slap in the face to him.

Maybe people already forget how good Kyrie Irving is.

If those two are healthy and in a zone, I'll take my chances with them. The rest of you can enjoy that carrot looking twig.

He's as important as anyone else on this team, outside the top-3. You can flip a coin between him and Mozgov, but I think he's more valuable personally.

I said one really bad game. We've had games we've struggled, but have you not realized how many injuries and things we're dealing with?

Gimme a break. If I gave you the Cavs record, given the shit we've dealt with, you'd not take it?

Acting like we've been pure garbage is just crazy to me. We clearly look like a team without its full parts right now.

I'd say it's been a success given everything.

So valuable that it took JR Smith punching Jae Crowder in the face for him to actually earn more minutes than JR Smith.

And I LIKE Shumpert. But at this point it more than feels like we as a fanbase our trying to overvalue his importance so it makes it easier for us to make excuses for our subpar play.

considering he just broke his knee you'll probably never see that guy again. we keep banking on great health for everyone like it's likely

I have no idea what you are even suggesting with this. The plan was always to have Shump start, but JR was in the lineup when Shump was still injured. We were rolling, so Blatt just stayed with that.

Let's not act like this was a blemish on Shumpert. It's obvious this team's improvement, especially defensively once we got him. But go ahead an throw him under the bus for some weird reason.

JR Smith starts like 40 straight games after the trade and would have started the entire post-season had he not gotten himself suspended. But yea, Shumpert being out is the reason we look underwhelming right now.

LeBron hasn't used that excuse once this season, because there is no excuse for playing the way we played last night.

And by the way, Harrison Barnes is still out for Golden State. You see how they've just fallen apart...............

Breaking your knee cap is nothing like tearing or ripping your tendons/cartilage. If the knee cap is all that happened, which is what the team's staff said, we will most certainly see that Kyrie again.

Quoting this because I've always hated the determinist argument that Golden State is bound to get injured and fall apart. That's not something any good team would bank on.

But also, didn't Golden State beat Utah and Charlotte without Barnes? Two teams we've already beaten... Not saying we are playing as good as they are right now but let's not claim that these two wins makes them invincible.

LeBron is just doing what any leader should do, is keeping these guys honest.

He knows realistically they're not going to be as good as GS right now.

Kyrie Irving is better than anyone on the Warriors not named Steph Curry. Him being out is a big deal. Especially with Mo Williams.

The silver lining is the team has actually looked pretty good, when you get rid of Mo Williams. Not perfect, but world's better.

He's been a gigantic problem for us. Him starting for anyone is going to be a gigantic problem.

There's nothing seriously to be concern with the Cavs, outside health. If we can count on them being healthy (that's not a given) there's no one in the NBA I'm not confident that we can at least beat in a seven game series.

Does anyone think GS would wipe the floor with us? Really? Can they beat of us? Sure they can, that's why the games are played. It's fun, it's not going to be a walk in the park though.

To think they'll steam roll over everyone, nah. But Us and SA are their only competition though. No one else has a chance against them.

I'd give an outside chance to the Thunder, but not really.

Gs has a guy that averages that production if he plays all four quarters

i hear the warriors bandwagon still has some room if you want to jump aboard.

maybe you didnt know but in the playoffs it comes down to matchups, not just pure winning percentage. in fact in 08-09 the cavs had the best record in the league, and tied for the 11th best record ever. They actually went on to lose in the ECF semifinals because they played against a team that matched against them perfectly. A healthy cavs team, with a motivated lebron can absolutely match the warriors

Not saying he's as good, but Kyrie can have that offensive explosion like Steph.

This is why I love us in a series against them. We have a guy that can at least match, or come close in production with Steph in a series.

Then you pair him with LeBron James. Make no mistake, we are the LAST team, healthy, GS secretly wants to see.

And for good reason. Every night Steph goes against another team's point guard, and he's EASILY, by a large margin, the better player.

That's not the case going against us.

This is a thing that hasn't existed since LeBron returned. There's no reason to expect it this season.

I use to hear the same thing when Curry's ankles were toothpicks instead of branches now.

This thread is hilarious dooms day, sky's falling end of the world cry fest.

Don't even bother replying, cause I ain't coming back to this gay thread.

The sad part about this streak is they are piling up wins and not even expending alot of energy doing it.

Steph has sat out multiple 4th quarters of late, and they just aren't accruing a whole lot of wear and tear right now.

The winning streak would bother me less if they were burning themselves out for down the road trying to win meaningless games in November/December, but they are blitzing the league and not working very hard to do it.

It's not normal.
