Eagles 1st round pick watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lol, they played the Bears and Browns. Unless they play every team thats likely to be top 5, itll be alright

Their defense is pretty damn good.

After watching two weeks of football, they just don't look like one of the 10 worst teams.

Maybe they'll have something go sideways on them but a 2-0 start means they'd have to go 4-10 to finish. Their schedule just isn't that hard IMO.

They still have Detroit, Washington twice, Dallas twice and Atlanta.

Their ball control offense coupled with their D will win them games. If Wentz stays healthy, they seem like a 7-8 win team. He's been solid.

While I don't quite agree with the "significantly better" description, the Bears are awful. They were bad last year and embraced going to full rebuild mode a lot this off season, and lost their best coach IMO.

Still, Eagles D is too good, especially with Gym Shorts running it, for them to have ever been thought of as potentially a top 5 picking team. Their gonna win ~5 games, which should have you guys picking in the early teens.

This year they'll dominate and next year wentz will look like dog shit. It is cleveland luck...

Great call on Wentz. Them analytics. They are great at analyzing heart, determination and pure grit. You know, shit you can't teach and makes the average great. The very things that put this kid on the radar.

If the point is to be bad enough to get a top two pick in the draft to get a franchise rookie QB, and fool the Eagles into a terrible season via a trade at which point the Browns would also have their high pick, then we're doing a great job! For Philadelphia....

We should stop trading for future first rounders from teams that employ Jim Schwartz.

And they play Pitt next week, so good luck to Wentz if he keeps taking big hits.

I feel like I kept saying that last night. Every single time he'd pop right up.

Then he'd make the correct read and nail his throw.

Wentz won't make it through a full season

I feel terrible to be rooting for him to get injured, but alas, I am. Need the high pick and need Browns fans to stay back from the ledge.

No need to root for it. If we're being completely honest Wentz has been more reckless than RGIII and McCown this year, but the pundits will spin that in his favor. That is until he gets put down for it.

RGIII didn't take unnecessary hits. McCown maybe could have gotten the ball out quicker. He also chose to come back into the game knowing he was hurt. Wentz has put himself in some bad spots in both games. I've counted 4 big hit's he's taken in two games that were completely avoidable that he ate. All of that and the two defenses he's played will probably finish in the bottom half of the league this year. He's got the Steelers next week though.....

I hate the double standard. RG3 ran and looked like he barely popped a guy at almost a dead stop....he is called reckless.

Wentz is far more "reckless" and he is considered "aggressive".

Don't worry, the Browns will have the number one pick regardless of what the Eagles do.

The NFL will be in a sad state if 5 wins ends up resulting in a pick in the teens. 5 wins should be a top 8 pick, if they win 7-8 then we're looking at a top 15-16 pick.

That little squiggly line before the 5 means around...I'm guessing they come in with a win total somewhere between 5 and 7, hence the around 5 wins. Called hedging your bets.
