Eagles 1st round pick watch

Plus we will have a ton of picks. Moving up won't be a problem.

I am not worried about Phili's draft status right now.

And we better be DAMN impressed with one of these QB's if we decide to use one of our 1st round picks on one with the talent there in the 1st round.

We can load up on a great draft, still suck ass next year to get a top pick and take a QB we love next year. Don't bite on a QB b/c the media is telling us we need Watson/Kizer if you don't love them!

I know exactly what it means, lol. ~5 wins doesn't equate to a teens pick to me, hence the response. Your reply makes much more sense. I'm not drawing 7-8 wins from ~5, I'm equating that to 4-6 wins since the NFL season is so short.

I'm more or less accounting for how terrible their division is, so I'm leaning the 2 win/loss gap heavily to the win side. Still, barring something crazy, I'd still expect them to be picking in the low teens.
 
meanwhile, the eagles are shitting all over the steelers right now. amazing.
 
Wouldn't even surprise me if the Eagles win the division. Watching the game. Their defense is for real. Not allowing many passing windows for Ben. They are doing a great job containing the weapons the Steelers have.

It's early in the season. Wentz has to come down from heaven eventually, even if he is good. You'd think.

It's amazing what difference a good QB can make.

I'm convinced now, Philly's Defense is good, but it takes a great one to manage a game on offense and make the perfect throws, reads, etc.

Wentz isn't just a product of their system, he isn't Trent Dilfer on the Ravens.

27 points is damn good. Wentz made a nice pass with the rush in his face. They even have a running game with some guy named Smallwood. Thats just a good QB beneficiary.

3-0 with a convincing win over the Steelers? Yikes.

It's amazing how Wentz gave up 3 points to one another of the best offenses in the NFL. Is there anything he can't do?!

It's more amazing what a dominant defense can do for you.

The Eagles are shutting down a HOF QB with elite weapons.

Discrediting? Huh. Not sure where you're getting that. But when you have a defense that gets off the field fast, hits the opposing QB, it does wonders for your entire football team.

There's no denying Wentz is playing at an extremely high level right now. But like I said, who thought Big Ben and the Steelers would not have a single touch down at this point in the game? That's very impressive.
 
Eh, it is what it is. I remember a lot of people here and other places who didnt like Wentz. Turns out, most were wrong.

There will be other quality QBs to come out.
