Farewell, Richard Jefferson.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Love what RJ brought to us tonight and also his attitude post-game. Recognized that the 7-day break + the 5-6 minute "lull" in the first probably cost us. He made a point to acknowledge that we did outscore the Bulls in every quarter but the first, and seemed to improve as each quarter went on.

He also praised the schedule to start the season, saying that "it lets you know where you're gonna go and what you gotta work on - it's not one of those teams that you can kinda get away and get a win. These teams are all teams that you have to come out, play well and play a full game."

But perhaps the most promising statement he made was: "When you have weapons on a team like we do you just got to stick with it, keep hope, Kevin hit some big shots, LeBron made some big plays and we had a chance to win it on the road after not playing well and that's a compliment to everyone in this room."

That's a paragraph everyone should read back at stages throughout the season. This is a team that doesn't have to play particularly well to win basketball games. And that's why, as a total season, every single game should be taken with a grain of salt until the months of April-June come about.

I was pretty impressed listening to Jefferson do commentary in the pre-season. He really understands the game, where it is heading and is able to articulate his thoughts very well. This guy was able to turn himself into a very good role player after being a high usage guy for a lot of his career.

Weird I thought RJ was done after some pretty mediocre or worse stints in San Antonio and GS. He resurrected himself last year and he actually looks like a solid backup 3 so far.

This guy is 36, really?!
I have to say that Physically he looks pretty damn good, looks like he can still get past his man and don't forget those two monster dunks he had in the preseason, one over a 7'2 dude.

This is a testament of his work ethic and professionalism, hes a real pro and I'm happy to have him on our squad, Its also fun listening to him talking about the game, he seems like a really smart and intelligent dude.
oh and don't forget, this dude can knock down some 3's (smh marion)

Is this Lebrons best backup ever? I love the defense and energy he has brought at the 6 minute mark each game. Excited for what this could mean

Did not expect this kind of production from RJ. He is making good passes, hitting at a high clip, and playing decent defense. Happy he is aboard.

Richard fuckin' Jefferson.

I was happy when we signed him, but it was difficult to get too excited after last years disappointment with the vets (especially Marion).

I feel like RJ has done more in 2 games than Marion did all last season. He's definitely got game left in the tank. Really underrated acquisition. Perfect fit too.

what the fuck did we stumble upon with richard goddamn jefferson? jesus, nice pick up..

I havent been able to watch as much as I should, how has he been defensively?
