Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think he played really well on defense (along with TT), not just blocking but also contesting. They missed almost all of their shots in the paint and layup in the first half. Amazing defense.

I wish instead of laying up soft dunks he powers them up, he seems to miss easy bunnies when he tries finesse over strength.

The 2 jumpers he took looked like crap as well - back-end of the rim and to the left. He seems to let his emotions get the best of him at times as well - almost getting a tech after slamming the ball to the ground after he was called for a foul.

Huge game by Moz today. With Love out. Kyrie struggling with injuries and LeBron not being LeBron, we needed Moz and he he delivered. Love him!

We're going to need more of him going forward. If were shooting like 30% from our shooters, then I don't see much downside to some higher percentage looks to Mozgov. He needs more offensive touches if Chicago is taking away LeBron and taking away our perimeter 3s.

I remember they started off game 2 by going down low to Moz. I don't think they've given him another look on the block since.
Not saying go to him every single time, but why not give it a look when the offense is stagnant or going through a dry spell.
I highly doubt that they will ever double him, so it's going to be him one on one with a chance to score.

Put Mozgov in the gym with a JUGS machine for two hours a day. Desperately needs to improve his pass catching.

I look at him the same way as I do Taj Gibson. They're both criminally under-used and would not hurt their teams playing 35mpg.

He had 1 rebound in the first half. Terrible...

He had 8 rebounds in the second half. More like it.

When he's controlling the boards and Tristan is doing his thing, we are going to be tough to beat.

But the Bulls have made every effort to wrap Tristan up since game 2. And the refs refuse to call it.

I think a big reason he plays lower minutes is that he ends up in foul trouble a lot.
