Re: 17th Pick - Tyler Zeller
A: No way to know that those three guys would have still been there at the picks you want us to have taken them at
B: Zeller complements Waiters and Irving well. This is a guy who is always first down on the break, has great hands, and finishes at a high percentage
C: He is a true center that serves a specific role. He should be able to do that role well and be penciled in for 7-8 years. The other guys are tweeners, some with injury concerns, who don't yet have a defined role.
I'm totally fine with this pick and giving up 33 and 34 to get it done.
Also fine adding just two rookies at a time. Get these guys in waves, not all at once(unless its absolute can't turn down players).

So that's how you justify trading 3 picks in the deepest draft in recent memory?
We took Zeller instead of being able to have all 3 of these guys:
PJIII
Draymond Green
Quincy Miller
I'd much rather have those three players than a white guy that will NEVER be a starting 5 on a contending team.
The worst part is now Grant is going to spend money in free agency, when we could've saved money by just simply using our picks.
