Fastlane Tonight - in Cleveland!

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Wyatt and Bryan was the best match.

Cena and Bray will be a solid WM match.

As for the Batista travesty. You know its bad when Rey Mysterio is booed. Unless WWE is setting up for Bryan beating Orton & Batista, theyre kicking themselves in the dick.

Also didnt like HHHs boys winning the tag titles. Thats a waste.

I just hate the logic of Bray vs Cena. They haven't done anything to build it until this random, out of the blue attack at the Rumble. Made no sense.

Well, the only reason Mysterio was booed is because they wanted Bryan at that #30 spot. They really put Rey in an awful situation there. It was incredibly short sighted for them not to expect at least some booing there.

As I said, this WrestleMania crowd is going to lose their shit for Orton vs Batista..

Only thing that can save them now is if they throw Bryan into the title match with them, ala Benoit vs HBK vs HHH at WM 20. (Difference being, of course, that Benoit won the Rumble that year & HBK was the one thrown into the match)

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

That was beyond terrible. Kevin Nash...again? New age outlaws the tag champs?

I'm glad Triple H is being loyal to his friends...

Well, everything still goes through Vince..

And honestly, these were the 2 things I'm probably least pissed about coming out of the PPV..

Cody/Goldust was setting up for a Mania match between the 2 all along, so I'm not mad there. Plus, the Outlaws can use the belts to build a young, up & coming tag team to take them away..

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Could not be prouder to be a part of the crowd that shit on that decision. They have yet again blown an opportunity for Bryan to be the man at Wrestlemania.

Simply a disgrace and I hope every crowd shits on the product until they give Bryan his due

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

I was there live in Pittsburgh sitting right beside the entrance ramp, never head so many boos in my entire life when Rey Mysterio flew out at #30. The entire crowd had the "YES!" chant going on there feet ready for Daniel Bryan to storm down the ramp and outcome Rey for his 5 minute stint in the match. Total waste.

The return of Batista is the biggest flop in WWE history. Should've just been a surprise entrant in the Rumble and not this hyped up event where his first in ring match back in year is the Royal Rumble and he wins it. After the Rumble went off air the crowd let him hear it. While walking down the ramp he was flipped off and turned the to the fan and flipped him off right back on the titantron. Couldn't even believe it. He then preceded to the ramp where he mocked everyone doing the "YES!" chant and waved bye laughing before leaving the arena. Total bust.

But the crowd honestly needs to cut it out, it is cool for the Bryan chants every now and then. But if Punk, Bryan, or the Rhodes Brothers aren't in a match the crowd is completely ruining the experience for everyone and the TV viewers. The Final Four of the Royal Rumble had to have been the most embarrassing moment in history. Roman Reigns suddenly became a face and Batista was the crowds biggest enemy. Going to be hard to have a match between Orton and Batista when the crowd will ruin both of them.

On other note, the Kane vs. Punk angle is very cool I really like it. Ziggler received a huge pop during his time in the rumble. And to cap it off Reigns could do big things with his singles career, really boosted his image tonight.

The crowd has been nuts for Bryan for 2 years now. Why the hell wouldn't they shit on Orton vs Cena take 200? or Batista winning the RR when he is someone they do not like? The WWE has never been more clueless about what the fans want than right now. It's such a waste of the talent on their roster.

I completely disagree with the bolded.

The crowd only chants for him when HHH/Orton/Cena/Batista/one of these ridiculous guys we've seen at the top a million times is out there. Hell, they don't do it for Brock.. or even Ziggler for that matter.

The crowd has every right to & frankly, should keep chanting for him. It's the only way they might eventually see the light & listen to them.

Hell, the only reason he turned on Bray so quickly is because of the chants at the Michigan State game.

I really hope Cleveland rains the boo's & chants on Batista/HHH/Cena/Orton tonight again, especially if WWE is gonna be so damn stubborn with it.

If we get Batista/Orton & Bryan in a random, throwaway match with Sheamus at WM, I won't be ordering or watching, I can guarantee that.

They're losing a ton of money by not giving Bryan the ball right now..

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

I am assuming the Outlaws will drop the belts to the Usos. That, plus the nostalgia twinge makes me OK with them winning.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

I'm laughing at anyone who thought Bryan would enter the Rumble and win. I would have bet millions of dollars on him not being in the match, and Bob Tista winning. Millions. It was so painstakingly obvious.

And the random Wyatt attack wasn't so random. Starting a long build isn't a bad thing.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

This is supposed to be their second best PPV of the year?

Yes, it was incredibly obvious, but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't be pissed off about it.

The fans were literally screaming what they wanted and they did nothing but ignore them. And putting Rey in the #30 spot just showed that they were completely naïve & oblivious to the fact that something like this could happen.

And yes, it was random. They literally had zero interaction before that & WWE did nothing to even tease that Bray had a problem with Cena.

I'm not saying starting a long build is a bad thing, but:

A) When was the last time WWE started a long build towards anything? They book on the fly & this seems like it was no exception.

B) They now have very little time to tell a story good enough to warrant a WrestleMania match between the 2. At least if they would've teased beforehand that Bray had a problem with him, they could've had an interaction on Raw or something where Cena saves Bryan from an attack...

And like I said earlier (even despite his win over Bryan last night), it seemed a Bray feud was a step down for Bryan as opposed as elevating Bray. This screams the same thing. Bray just doesn't look like he belongs yet, they need more of a build.

As far as match quality, it doesn't seem like it was that bad & they accomplished quite a bit, but:

A) Batista winning & facing Orton at WM is incredibly predictable

And

B) The fans were plain out ignored & WWE remains stubborn in regards to Bryan's push.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

reminds me of the Cavaliers with Mike Brown as the coach

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Bryan
Punk
and Ziggler to a much lesser extent

Are all completely wasted talent. Punk v Bryan for tge world title at WM30 could be epic.

Re: WWE Road to WrestleMania starts tonight!

Looked like Cleveland represented pretty well on RAW tonight. Granted I was half-watching the TV while on the computer, but it sure seemed like the atmosphere was pretty electric to me. Anyone in attendance tonight who can confirm?
