This was what I took away from last night as well... truly the "end of an era". A changing of the guards, if you will. Bryan over HHH, Bryan over Orton & Batista, Cesaro over Big Show, The Shield over Kane & New Age Outlaws. The only real exception was Cena over Wyatt, but even in defeat Wyatt looked strong.
What a damn night. Such an amazing Wrestlemania from the intro with Hogan/Rock/Austin, the in-ring storytelling, the matches themselves, the shock value, and the overall production that was second to none. Kudos to the WWE Network for handling the traffic and not crashing. With the exception of a few second long glitches the quality was fantastic. I was entertained for 4 straight hours, which at the end of the day that's why we watch. I'm so pumped to see all of the fallout on Raw tonight that I'll even watch the pre-show.
In regards to Lesnar beating Undertaker... The only thing I can think of is Lesnar signed a contract extension. I didn't prefer to see the streak end, especially at the hands of a part timer like Lesnar, but the "WTF" moment is what makes wrestling so fun. Mark Calloway (The Undertaker) has always said he wanted the streak to end with a loss. So, I'm assuming he chose Lesnar as the one to beat him. I think he earned the right to make that decision. I'm also not going to be one of those fans that throws a hissy fit bc The Undertaker didnt lose to a young dude like Reigns or Wyatt like alot of the IWC wanted. Bray Wyatt has already arrived, IMO, let him do his own thing without being tied to the streak. Reigns has the look and feel of a top talent, but considering we haven't even seen him solo yet everyone needs to pump the breaks on anoiting him the next megastar.
Bryan finally overcame The Authority and had his moment after 8 months of build, Cesaro turned face and got a push, The Streak ended, and some nostalgic moments with the legends. Couldn't have asked for much more.
