Just take Bynum without the extension. Fuck it. Compete, grow, show Bynum we have a nice future, throw him the max. Pretty good chance he'd stay with us over joining the awful Rockets or the old Mavericks.

Yeah, but he is still "guessing". The deal probably won't happen because Orlando wants to much and that is the way it has always been.

Windy believes without the Bynum extension and giving up Andy and multiple draft choices, the deal is not a slam dunk and the franchise would be in bad shape if Bynum walks.
He said top players will never sign with Cleveland as free agents.

The problem isn't us, lakers, bynum, or even dwight at this point. The big obstacle is that stupid (bleep) rookie amateur hennigan who thinks this trade is gonna define him as a GM. What he needs to realize is regardless of what deal he gets he's gonna get the worst end of the stick. Its what he does afterwards to rebuild the team that's gonna make or break him as a GM.

Its called due diligence. Just because he's not going to get 95 cents on the dollar doesn't mean he should take the first crappy offer he gets... or the second crappy offer, for that matter.
There's 3 months until the season starts, plenty of time for him to make a deal.

Is negotiating by using the media also part of due diligence? There's only one name who gets mentioned in these leaks as much as Dwight's and its Hennigan. GMs should blacklist this guy after this ordeal is over.

The Orlando GM won't trade Dwight unless he gets the package he wants when he wants it. He doesn't think Dwight will sign anywhere next year and leave money on the table so he can keep him in Orlando this year then do a S&T for a boatload more.
The problem is does Howard have the balls to leave money on the table and take the 4 year deal instead of a 5 year?

Orlando is a trainwreck of a franchise right now.
