Game 10 | San Antonio Spurs (6-4) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (5-4) | November 19, 2014 | 7:00PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So let me get this straight. Because Harris missed the open 3 means he can't hit it or that Dion would have hit it?
Between them, I'd have Waiters take that shot everyday of the week and twice on Sunday

Jesus fucking christ, are you watching the game or reading play by play? Cavs are clearly not getting the same type of respect that San Antonio is. Even the commentators have pointed out some sloppy officiating that has gone against the Cavs. These guys are getting paid to make the right call, and in a tight game every call counts.

Would love to have Delly back for end game situations. I don't know if Blatt will ever trust Dion on offense to put him out there for end game situations. Would have loved for Love to get post touches in the 4th but that didn't happen although we did get excellent, excellent opportunities to score and simply didn't. We had about 6 misses (mostly at the rim) and 3 turnovers on crucial possessions when we failed to extend the lead. James seriously needs to stop with all the attempted perfect pocket passes threading the needle. We don't need those with all the talent we have on offense. We don't need that type of high risk play.

Strangely, I almost feel better about the team after this game than after some of the smoke and mirror wins earlier this season though still salty about that ending.

Really? Cause I'd probably take the better spot up shooter, which is Harris.
Better spot up shooter than Waiters? that's bold considering he's played 5 meaningful games and he's gone
1-3
1-4
4-5
1-2
1-4
If it wasn't for the Atlanta game, where literally everyone was on fire from behind the line, his shooting percentage would be shit

I'd rather have the guy who could have hit that open three or stopped ginobli from getting an easy layup under the basket

Waiter's defense hasn't exactly been good this year. It's been pretty terrible actually.

Harris is making rookie mistakes out there and it's costing them, but it's good experience for him. Waiters just can't be trusted to play within the offense and take good shots. He takes multiple, bad step back twos every single game and showing no signs of eliminating them. You can't get away with that shit when you're like the 7th best player on the court.

These are my favorite arguments. "If it wasn't for those games where he shot well he wouldn't be a good shooter."

The refs sucked tonight. Cost Cleveland the game.

Oh yes, your argument is way better, "Look at the one game where this guy shot well"

Shhhh. Not supposed to let that cat out of the bag.

And that's exactly why Harris is getting the minutes. Because you know with absolute certainty he's not going to take a single shot like that.

right, except over the last 3 games, Dion's defense has been good and it is showing in his +/- totals. Harris was a blunder.

Hah, not sure if you're serious. But you're right, in the end, we lost this game. Bad officiating or not, we lost by 2 and definitely could have won if we didn't make a few boneheaded plays. That Andy pass being one of the more crucial ones. Butttt, in my defence I was complaining about the refs in the first half as well.

I prefer to look at the all the games, his form, and his college career to tell me he's a better spot up shooter.
So Dion's 42% catch and shoot 3pt percentage doesn't make him a good spot up shooter?

if either LeBron or Love has a normal game we win.. pretty simple.. LBJ has trouble with Khawi.. going forward though I think Kyrie and Love can score at will on Parker and Diaw.. also why there isn't more Kyrie and Love PNR is mind boggling .. as well as LBJ and Love.. the LBJ and Kyrie PNR has worked good in 1 game all year and it seems to be our late go to play now... also that play down 1 having Andy throwing a lob was a terrible call.. I like Blatt but that was bad.. too much risk in it.. just get the ball in to LeBron or Kyrie and let them make a play .. not Andy

The only explanation I can think of is that Blatt wants to experiment with more ball movement because it doesn't make sense that we're not seeing more James-Love P&R, Kyrie-Love P&R, and post touches for Love. The hope is we have this down pat by the playoffs where we mix up James-Love, James-Kyrie, Kyrie-James, and James-Andy P&Rs along with James and Love in the post. As it is, we let so many teams off the hook by taking garbage shots when we should be getting great ones.
