Game 11 | Cavs (5-5) @ Wizards (7-3) | November 21, 2014 | 8pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
At some point Blatt is going to have to realize if the other team has a top tier athlete at PG, he NEEDS Dion out there guarding him.

People can complain all they want about Dion's defense, but everyone else in the backcourt is so much worse at guarding quick PGs that it makes Dion look like a prime Tony Allen.

No, you know what, Kyrie has been better on that end than Dion has this year. I'd rather Kyrie guard John Wall than Waiters at this point.

I blame Love. Bastard isn't scoring.

A real PF can score without ever touching the ball. Blake Griffin would have scored 35 points tonight.

Edit:
Sarcasm, what is it?

The hell are you talking about? You're talking about Love's effort on defense THIS GAME not being bad and I just gave you an example from this game where he gave no effort at all. I really hate moving the goal posts in the middle of the argument.

you quoted a post that wasn't even a reply of mine to you.. it was a discussion about this year in general.. maybe quote the right post next time Rich.. like I said.. Love gave up about 14 points tonight.. Def wasn't our problem.. we gave up 91 pts and 36 total in the 2nd half

From the reaction on ESPN and some on this board here is what I am gathering:
-Season is over. No point in playing the rest of the games.
-LBJ is leaving this summer and going to New York
-Kevin Love is going to LA with Kyrie Irving this summer.
-Yes, that means that Kyrie is going to threaten to retire unless we trade him.
-Cavs give Dion a max contract only to result in him breaking an arm.
-David Blatt quits and goes to Iran to coach their professional basketball team.

Geez, chill out guys. It was a bad game. But people saying if "we can't beat Washington now we are screwed come playoff time" are crazy.

Yikes, we play 3x TOR and 2x WASH in a two week span.

Someone should photoshop LeBron and Love's heads on that SI cover with Dwight and Nash from a few years back. Our season will probably have the same result as that Lakers team.

Your post, clearly talking about Kevin Love's defense THIS GAME. You want to be condescending follow the argument and remember what you typed.

he took 7 shots and his D wasn't that bad.. we must have been watchin a different game

Not sure why the Cavs have no heart the last 4 years. Thinking what the common denominator could be....

I still think we can be fine.. our D has been a lot better lately.. just need better flow on offense, more transition, and less turnovers... also LeBron must play better.. we can talk about Love and Dion and whomever else but LeBron has played 3 mediocre at best games in a row.. turnovers, not finishing around the rim, poor body language, and lacking hustle at times especially on Def.. he isn't teaching anyone anything IMO by doing any of that.. I can take the not finishing around the rim because that is more physical.. the rest in more of an attitude... then we get to hear about his leadership.. let's be honest he has had as many or more mediocre games then he has has good ones so far.. the this is the hardest thing I've ever done in my career comments are asinine... no LeBron winning with the shit teams you had in 07' and all the other teams would have been the hardest thing you would have ever done.. not winning with 2 other all-stars 1 whom you and the coach haven't figured out how to get involved yet for 4 qrts.. hell even 2 qtrs

Wow, so...this team actually sucks right now. That's not even hyperbole. I really didn't think we'd be at this point. Thought it'd take time to "gel" and get chemistry but man, they are brutal. Literally not any better than last year's team.

like I said you quoted a post that wasn't too you.. and his D wasn't that bad.. you brought up 1 play.. and I can tell you on back to back plays he locked down Nene only to have LBJ lose Pierce backdoor for a dunk and then Andy to lose Seraphin and give up a layup... so whatever Rich.. we gave up 91 pts

The thing I noticed about Love's D around the basket is that he just puts his hands straight up and doesn't even attempt to try and block a shot. Sometimes he doesn't even put his hands up! You can tell opposing players know this and just go around him and score with ease
