Game 15 | Indiana Pacers (7-9) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (7-7) | November 29, 2014 | 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kyrie and kevin played great tonight! Lebron needs to play every minute like he should be. He's killing me jogging back on defense just because his guy got the rebound or whatever. It's really starting to piss me off. Dion still hasn't found his spot out there. TT been looking like a #4 overall draft pick imo. Good win. Still got things to work on. Things are going in the right direction.

No matter how much he denies it, I think it's clear that his back is bothering him. He can play through it when he needs to, but in a regular season game where you are leading comfortably, I totally understand why he's been dogging it occasionally on D. You won't see it in the playoffs or important games.

Biggest takeaways from this game. The starters are starting to get it. The offense was superb tonight. That rebound pass from Kyrie to Marion was disgusting.

Andy should come off the bench. This will help protect him from the injuries he so often gets and will allow Love to be more involved in the offense. I don't think it was a fluke that he dominated tonight. He did more than just chill on the perimeter waiting to shoot a 3.

Kyrie wants to win and it's clear. I'm absolutely blown away by how much his defense has improved over such a short time. Looks like all he needed was something to play for.

Dion is struggling badly. I disagree with some of the ball stopper comments, however someone needs to sit him down and fix that damn fade on his jumper. He nails them when he goes up straight. I don't think he should be written off. The second unit offense needs to run through him. I don't think he'll shoot this poorly all year.

I think Blatt is a good coach, this is the first time I can remember having someone actually draw up plays. His offense is working and the defense has vastly improved. Which makes sense since he said they spent most of camp learning the offense and they didn't start on the D until later. He does need to work on his rotations though. All in all I'd rather have the rotations be an issue than the coaching philosophy like we saw with Byron and Brown. I think he's still tinkering and will figure that part out.

This game had a similar feel to the first half to the Raptors game. We were rolling along, the Pacers scrapped back into the game. But we came out back on fire in the third quarter and took care of our business. We're still a little soft in the area towards the end of the first and the beginning of the second. But other than that, great game!

Our starters are clicking. Hope Andy gets well soon!

Onto the next one... sigh, all the way on Tuesday.

Another great win for all the reasons that have already been said.

I'm still not totally sure about Blatt's rotations would be my only critique. He is likely still experimenting to try and solve for the lack of bench production, but some of his lineups and sub patterns confuse me.

I was watching this from across the bar, and only saw a highlight or something, but did someone punch our mascot?

The last 2 first quarters have been a thing of beauty. Tonight the defense sparred the offense and the Pacers didn't know want hit them for about a quarter. To hold a team, even if injury-ridden to 39% from the floor is quite impressive. Irving's defense was on par tonight and everyone was thinking team first tonight.

Love was the man, 28 and 10 and he looked stellar out there in stretches, I hope he is getting some momentum in his offensive game. And to have your starting point guard have the same amount of rebounds as your starting power forward could be good or bad, in this case...good. Irving had 10 boards and 3 blocks along with his points he put up.

This team is hitting on offensive rhythm and like I stated earlier, that will lend itself to the defense which was evident tonight.

Another long team in the Bucks next, try to control the pace because they got some young cats who can score down in the paint.

Edit: I might be the only OCD bball fan as the game played without error for me but I had to jot down and get online to watch some plays that Fox Sports Ohio didn't show all of (Like showing an instant replay on a Marion 3)....etc....I am weird.

That was a clip from a few years back when West did.

I actually like the position we were put in when we blew our progress from our hot start. The more times were put in that y position and come out victorious, the more battle tested and emotionally stable well end up

I thanked this particularly for the last paragraph. So many seem to complain about Blatt and when they do I cringe... Do you people remember Grimace? Mr. spit in a cup then pull out my cards and follow my plan regardless of what is actually happening, just because it's time to pull that Damn card out? Seriously, he did video recordings before us, was never ever ever ever able to prove he could manage a team other than bringing up what he saw in the last game or losing his bowels when he let an iso take over. So glad that shit is over.

Great things happen when Love is having a good game. I think there is something to having him and AV not share the court as much.

He was moving and getting in position better than we've seen all season. We need him to thrive, it allows LeBron to take it easy. He is a top 5-10 talent in the league and he must be allowed to do his thing. He can score from anywhere on the floor (a rare thing) and that must be taken advantage of.

Come playoff time, the minutes LeBron didn't play will become all the more valuable. Let Love and Kyrie's young legs run.

Yeah someone mentioned before that andys motion means hes always cutting into spaces that love is waiting to fill. thats something that will clean up over time

Watching this game made me think that Andy should come off the bench. He should keep that initial energy going. Only problem is he might only be effective on offense with LeBron. Andy is taking the ball out of Love's hands.
