Game 23| 76ers @ Cavaliers| 12-12-2008| 7:30 PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Glad to see my sig is justified. Funny that Sasha gets so much hate around here but is infintely better than Wally, good times.

not every game but if Wally shoots a little better like he does some games..you wouldn't say this. With Wally if he isn't scoring, then his overall game will look bad... but if he is scoring then he is a huge help. Sasha to me doesn't have the ability to score the ball that well because he doesn't ever get hot. Wally gets super hot..sasha never does. Sasha goes for 2-2 on 3pointers and everyone says ditch Wally.

If teams are leaving their man alot to help out having Wally out there is good. If the defense isn't helping out as much then might as well have Sasha in there for defensive purposes and the little bit of driving ability that Sasha has. Its all part of the job as coach to put the right personnel on the floor. So far so good.

From what I saw last night's game: Just watched it this morning...

When Lebron doesn't turn the ball over...and hits a couple jumpers..he is unstoppable. He was just that tonight. I did see some deference from him to Delonte, Andy and Mo. I like it alot. One play in particular where Mo had the ball and Lebron was calling for it for a post up from the 3point line. Mo saw that his man was slacking on the D and just ignored Lebron because he knew he could get a fluid jump shot. He did just that and hit it. Thats something that Larry Hughes used to do but he wouldn't be efficient so it looked bad. Mo is hitting those shots and being efficient.

Andy came up big offensively. He was great. That offensive of rebound and then 3point play was awesome. Teams are going to leave him over for the midrange jumper...if he can hit 50% that would be ideal for us. He was active on the defense too getting into the mix and getting steals. He gets alot of steals in general. Good instincts much like Big Ben.

The transition defense wasn't there in the 1st quarter but the overall defense the rest of the game was intense. Delonte West played one of his better defensive games against Andre Miller and Royal Ivey. Mo had a little trouble with Willie Green but alot of Green's points came off of transition. Elton Brand doesn't seem right, but maybe because Big Ben, Andy and Darnell Jackson played him well and it seemed Brand always had 4 arms in his face.

We turned the ball over too many times in the first quarter which led to their transition baskets. Once we stopped that, then we were able to get to our strength: half court defense. Our offense was not as efficient last night because Wally missed some wide open shots as well as Delonte, but Lebron, Andy and Delonte at times did just enough to keep up with this season's trend of blowing out the other team. :)

I would like to also note that it looked like Delonte was alot more aggressive this game and although he wasn't that efficient, it was good to see he step up with some aggression offensively without Z and at times Mo.
