SILKY SMOOTH'S FACTS
CAVS
  • Keep up the good defense.
  • Don't let Iguodala get off to a great start. Force him to take jumpers
  • Get the offensive attack started early and often.
  • Elton Brand will be ready. Ben and Anderson need to be ready
  • In Z and Boobie's absense, we need some players to step up. JJ and Darnell need to be ready as well as Sasha and Wally

76ers
  • Contant Lebron(ha:king:)
  • Get Elton Brand the ball in space
  • Take advantage of Z's absense

One goal in mind....CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Edit-I'm not sure who will start in Z's absense so I left him in the starting lineup until I figure out who starts in his place

elton brand is starting and playing? he didnt last night

This one worries me...

I believe it would jinx the team for stalwart fans not to worry. :king:

I am pre-worrying about Saturday's game.

If we want to win this one in Z's absence we'll need to be more careful with the basketball, I felt we were too sloppy in spurts at the Wachovia Center. I'm expecting this game to be a different story as we bring a better effort with fresh legs and on our home floor.

PS: It'll be Big Ben wig night, so hopefully Ben let's his freak fro fly and ditches the rows for a night. Also, I'll be at the game, but before the festivities come join me for a super-greasy slice of Sbarro's pizza at Tower City before hand. I'm using Christmas gift money to splurge for one night only, and I'm determined to make it a memorable one at that.

I expect LBJ to have a big game, as he will have to shoulder most of the load. That, plus he was a little upstaged by AI last night, so he'll be playing with a vengance.

Everyone's going to need to pick it up a little bit to make up for Z and Boobie. We're at home so I think we'll be ok.

Delonte has to show up. The past several games he has shot pretty bad. He was 1-5 from the 3-point line on Wednesday against the sixers. With Z and Boobie out West is also going to have to score a bit more. Wally and Pavlovic have to do good on both ends of the court as well.

This won't be an easy game, Boobie and Z combined score like 25 points for us so that is not easily replaced.

this one makes me lose control of my bladder and cower in the corner with my childhood blankie over top of my head and a pacifier in my mouth....

A very worrisome game for sure. We're in good fortune that we have this one at home. Atlanta is not going to be a walk in the park by any means.
