Ouch. This is a tough one to swallow, but with the days off Mike Brown will whip these guys into shape. Sure, the Heat were aggressive and Chalmers sunk like 6 threes, but we shot ourselves in the foot here, plain and simple.

How many bench points did we rack up? By my count it was 15, not very good at all when the Heat bench rained 3s on us. Also, we were sloppy with the ball and forgot our defense. We can only hope to slow Wade down, but other Heat players had easy lanes to the basket. Miami played aggressive, we came out (as A.C. said) "lethargic". If we want to be a championship team digging an early hole and hoping for a come from behind win will not get us there.

Ever since the second Thunder game we've taken a step back (Houston was quality, but the only exception), so maybe a loss will do us good. Better ball handling, better defense, better Cavalier basketball. I'm not in a ranting and raving mood after the loss, just disappointed. Start a new streak to kick off 2009! Other teams aren't going to let up, and neither should we.
 
I don't ever wish the cavs too lose but like someone said earlier, im glad we lost one as a wake-up call. In my opinion the last couple games we haven't looked that impressive so hopefully it will be good for the team.

West and Andy played pretty well. Hickson didn't embarass himself.

I just have no idea how the Cavs were outrebounded by the Heat, especially after starting out okay in that category. That is pathetic.
 
Well we lost to the heat, in miami, Their role players were making EVERYTHING, Those 3's killed us. Wade played solid and had a lot of assists, LeBron and Brother Red played great, and if you guys are going to be mad at someone be mad at Mo. He was a total non factor tonight. We should all be used to Boobie playing horrible, but it was weird to see mo not be able to get anything. All this means is we gotta beat boston, and just keep improving.
 
BigEarieCavs fan, I think blank is on some sort of drug... I'd really like to know what he's taking. He must think the browns are making the superbowl as well!
 
Oh noes, we lost to a GOOD Heat team that beat the LAKERS, Utah, Denver and a host of other good teams.

Oh noes, they beat us when their ROOKIE made 6 3 pointers and couldn't seem to miss a shot.

Oh noes, our 7'3 Center is obviously still a little stiff from his injury, and in the first half we couldn't seem to make an open shot.

Sheesh guys, we lost a game to a good team on their floor when they were on fire. There is a reason a lot of us were worried about this game, and you just saw why. We are a 5 loss team, one of the top 3 teams in the NBA, and we lost a game where we were cold. The heat are VERY talented and couldn't seem to miss a shot tonight. To top it all off we were on their floor, in front of an raucous crowd who had already witnessed this team knock of another elite team (Lakers).

I'm sick of talk of cutting players after a loss just because they had a bad game. Boobie doesn't deserve it, the only player who had a great game was LBJ. Maybe we should cut the rest of the team!

GIBSON IS HORRIBLE!!! JUST HORRIBLE! The Cavs just continue to play bad these last few games and its showing. We're going back to the Le-Iso more often in the 4th quarter and its sickening.


Trade Boobie and Wally for a bigmen, I'm sick of them. I don't like Sasha but atleast he attempts to take it to the hole and is able to shoot the 3 fair enough unlike Boobie that is showing nothing for half a season besides like 1 good game every 20 games. Sasha and Delonte definitely should get those minutes at the 2.

I just loved how Gibson made 2 3's at the end of the game... Yeah thanks for making it when it means absolutely NOTHING.

Ben Wallace is soft at times I swear..

Hell trade half the team... we need a big for crying out loud.

Just got done watching the interview with Mario chalmers...and lebron walked up to him after the game and said a couple of words to the rookie: "keep shooting like that, keep shooting like that boy, your gonna make teams pay...Teams are gonna learn to respect you". Mario said thats a greatest compliments he has received from opposing player.
