Game 35 | Cavs (19-15) @ Philadelphia (4-28) | January, 5th, 2015 | 7pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This thread is hilarious after knowing the final outcome of the trade. People were ready to jump off of 480!!

The OKC 1st sealed the deal for me. We got 3 assets for a glorified chucker who's a shoot 1st, shoot 2nd, miss layup scream And1, and pass 3rd player. One can play D, one was actually a 6th man winner, and a future pick to offer for a big man.

In the meantime, Rich is a debbie downer.

I'm basically saying the same thing when we got Earl Clark and people were so happy to no longer have to watch Alonzo Gee start. Sideways move, boys. Shumpert could be a better fit, but I don't think he's gonna move the needle all that much.

Sideways move, I disagree. You're going to eat those words because unlike Waiters, JR wouldnt hit the top corner of the backboard on a wide open 3, dude hits shots and you know it. It's hard not to believe that a change of scenery is good here, they leave a selfish superstar to play with an unselfish superstar.

Let's not forget how good JR was, in fact so good that he made a power play in getting his brother a damn roster spot. Call it what you want, the postives surely outweigh the neagtives. This is no sideways move, it's a move that needed to be done. Oh yeah, Shumpert instantly becomes our best perimeter defender besides LeBron.

I agree. If anything, these guys commit to the roles they play on their team, for the most part. But you're not getting anything too much better in the skill department. More faith in LeBron and Kyrie I suppose. (I still wish we could have gotten Lamb out of that deal somehow)
