Game 52: Cleveland Cavaliers (31-20) @ Indiana Pacers (18-32)| Feb 6th, 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The streak showed me this is a great basketball team. Not gonna get to crazy about a loss on the second night of a back to back. Get off the schneid against a shitty Laker team at home on Sunday.

I will say that it's frustrating that Love is seemingly incapable of making momentum swinging threes. Had a couple opportunities late, but just didn't capitalize. Need to make teams pay in the future. Still of the opinion that the ASB will help get him right.

I'm still getting used to James's Harden moments...hehe.

Of course you can't blame only Lebron. That is a given.

Tbh we have one of the worst assists per make ratios in the league. Tonight it caught up to us and we didn't put up 110

Refs aside, we should've won this game. The Pacers aren't a good basketball team and we just didn't play good basketball tonight. No ball movement and hero ball late in the game lost us this game.

JR missed about 3 or 4 threes in a row, too, that could have turned 12-point leads into 15, or 10-point leads into 13. Then the Pacers started to creep, creep, creep back into the game. Missed shots, turnovers, sloppy defense. Nobody could hit a big shot.

What about miles hacking the shit out of shump on the rebound then they bail out miles somehow.

Few plays come to mind especially LeBron offensive foul, Mozgov offensive foul screen, and the bailout 4 point play where Hibbert has basically brickwalled Kyrie. The bailouts plus tons of shitty play from Love, LeBron and others and late coaching decisions has led us to this loss. If that's what it takes to bring us down in 48 minutes, I'm not going to be mad. Easy to correct in the following games.

The team was still in this game up until George Hill's second free throw with 3.7 seconds left. J.R. hit two three pointers and had us within two. We just ran out of clock.

Even after all of those dumbass mistakes and sloppy play.

Most of the time, you learn more from a loss than from a win. Team was a bit too high on itself after the Clips. Better to have a cold reminder now that they aren't entitled to wins, but need to earn each one.

I knew this streak was going to end some time but not against the effing Pacers. I hate those dudes with a passion and while its disappointing especially with how 1 loss drops us 2 notches in the ranks.

I got to say, it was a mixture of the back-to-back and just playing down to the opponent. If Cavaliers play any semblance of defense in the 4th, they win.

I got to say, I am more mad at the play of Love than the outcome of the game. This dude was brought it to be a part of something special and its taking him the longest to find any sort of rhythm.

I will go bizerk if they lose to the Lakers on Sunday, but it's just 1 loss and while it may hurt them now in the rankings, they SHOULD become stronger because of this. Someone on TNT Thursday said great contending teams don't go on sizeable win streaks and then losing streaks, after they lose they come right back and go on another win streak. The Cavaliers will do that and I predict they go undefeated in their remaining games until after the All-Star break.

I must say, I REALLY hate the Pacers. West is dirty, Hibbert is the softest, fakest big man in league history and for the past several years they believe they never committed 1 foul.

Sorry guys, the Cavs have lost every time I've posted a game thread. Maybe they're trying to tell me something?

:chuckle:

After sleeping on this one I have come to the conclusion that this is what caused the loss. Not LBJ, not Delly, not Love, not TT, not Ki.....but committing a sacrilege against the Cavs gods.

Honestly i think this was one of those games you loose no matter what.

The Pacers always go off against Lebron.

This crazy 4 Point Play by Hill turned the Game basically.. a shot that has a chance of what to go in 10-20%? You cant do anything against a player hitting this shot.

Sure we could have played better defense in the 4th but to be fair we didnt play BAD defense! The Pacers did just hit some tough shot.

just one of those nights.. it is a lesson in "Dont loose your 12 Point lead goddammit" but it also was just some bad luck.

Go crush the Lakers tomorrow and go from there
