Home game so I think it'll be close in the first half, only to get blown out of the water in the second. On the plus side though I don't think Brown changes his rotation at all so we still get to see huge minutes for Jack and Hawes. Check my avatar to see my thoughts on this topic.

All season we've been beating ourselves. Then we finally start playing some decent basketball and 2 of our best 3 players get hurt. We're just not good enough to beat Washington, Toronto, etc, with the guys we're putting out there. The defense hasn't even been that bad. Disappointing...

Probably means Spencer Hawes will be starting in place of Zeller. I have no hope, esp with the injuries, that MB will put Jack back on the bench where he belongs.

Didn't see this when I posted my last message.
I really don't have a problem with Hawes starting. He's only a year older than Zeller and opens up the floor for Deng and the guards. Unfortunately having Jack out there for so many minutes just kills everything. Some of TT's minutes need to be cut and given to Bennett.

Starting Hawes now would also indicate that either it will be awhile for Varejao to return or Brown has decided to with Hawes in the starting lineup if Varejao returns soon. Brown doesn't typically like to change the rotation without giving it a handful of games to stabilize. No need to start Hawes unless he's going to be there for some time, in other words.

I would be fine if Brown surprises us all by starting Karasev...
