Game 9 | Denver Nuggets (2-7) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (5-3) | November 17, 2014 | 7:00PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Love love love love that even though we were about to lose the game, Blatt used that timeout as a teaching moment to try a new inbounds play (which was executed perfectly, was an awesome play, and resulted in a wide open bricked three attempt).

I don't get how there is always an open men behind the 3pt line, I just can't figure it out.
Tyron Lue, please do something with the defense like you are supposed to
I really think we should trade TT, his hustle and effort is not good enough at this point

just think when Love is taking to Faried like that you come out and get him going in the 3rd.. instead it started out with LBJ and Kyrie missing shots and turning it over... still need to know when to feed the hot hand.. also passing was quite there and the turnovers killed us.. also refs seemed to be in Den favor for whatever reason.. but Cle didn't deserve a W with their effort

Marion or Lebron should have been on Lawson the entire second half. And the team can't figure out that almost NO TEAM can guard Love in the post.

Jesus this isn't rocket science.

Lebron shut him down but it was too late, kyrie is eating all his crossovers and fakes
Kevin Love (-14) Lebron (-13)
Waiters(+2) Harris (+1)

LeBron is not faster than Kyrie, but LeBron could stay in front of Lawson easier. LEARN TO STAY IN FRONT OF YOUR FUCKING MAN KYRIE. I'm starting to think the kid is retarded defensively.

Mozgov completely shutdown both AV and TT on both offense and defense.

Blatt figured because Harris had some good minutes in the past two wins that he should automatically be cemented into the rotation and extend his minutes tonight even though he wasn't hitting open shots. Marion has to be not he floor honestly he could have also giving Miller a look. Our young players revert back to habits when the game gets shaky. Sign of a good coach is adjustments and not riding line ups too long. Tonight Blatt struggled. Tristan and Harris played too long in an extended period and brought little. Andy didn't see the court after his flagarant foul call. He has no idea what buttons to push as far as rotations go at the moment and its pretty evident in our losses.

When Darrell freakin' Arthur is hitting 3 pointers sometimes you just have to tip your cap to the other team. The Nuggets backcourt was just unstoppable tonight. The Cavs had difficulty with Mozgov's height in the paint while Tristan and Andy were just invisible.

Definitely think Marion on Lawson was the way to go.. if Afflalo wants to post up Irving more power to him but twice Marion was switched onto Lawson and kept him at bay.. Marion didn't get nearly enough minutes tonight IMO

We didn't play good Defense. The ball wasn't falling for us tonight either. But man did it seem like the refs gave Denver a lot of ticky-tacky fouls that we certainly didn't get. Not an excuse, but those kinds of things really change the course of a game. On to the next one, I guess.

Just.. no. The refs didn't remotely have anything to do with this outcome. A lack of defensive execution and intensity did, and it's becoming a disturbing trend. This team is going nowhere fast if they can't play defense against the Denver freaking Nuggets at home (and the Nuggets have on a back to back to boot).

We all hated Mike Brown.. and for a lot of good reasons.. but he could get a team of scrubs to play defense. And what that does for you in this league is when a team is cold, like we were tonight for the most part, you still have a chance.

Without defense we had no chance tonight against anyone in the NBA. Sad. I feel bad for the fans that showed up tonight.

Darell Arthur's made 3s were essentially the difference in the final score.

Horse shit. We made them look good with poor defensive rotations, poor ball stopping, awful ball denials, and ridiculously poor help defense.

And we STILL had a small chance to come back. If we played even the smallest amount of defense tonight, we would have won this game. This one is on Blatt entirely. Poor use of his bench and veterans. Marion should have gotten a lot more minutes.

We played good D in the first half. Did ok on offense. Second half, totally sucked on both ends of the floor. Got killed.

We probably would have been back in the game if we didn't shoot (and miss) a three ever single possession we got the ball.
