We matchup really well with Boston our biggest problem is Milwaukee and Philly but once this team mature a little bit more I think we can matchup against anyone

Didn’t the sixers traded with Boston and picked fultz with first pick instead of Tatum or they were in different drafts?

I just hate "play through the pain" when it comes to shooters and hand injuries. Sure, they can get on the floor and play. They just won't shoot as well, which kind of defeats the point of them being a shooter.

It's not about "toughness". It's about involuntary alterations in your muscle memory.

The Celtics had the first pick and traded down with the Sixers at #3 so the Sixers could pick Fultz at #1. Presumably the Sixers would also have been too stupid to pick Tatum even if they had drawn the #1 pick originally. I mean they didn’t pick him even with the #1 pick. (It would have been pretty funny if they had stabbed the Celtics in the back by trading up and taking Tatum though).

That’s the fatal flaw in the “process” / extreme tanking - you have to be smart enough to nail those picks. Even among the top five picks most don’t really pan out

Vegas has us favored by 7.5 which is huge. Tatum is the heart and soul of the Celtics offense, hard to see them winning without him
