For the future development of Mobley, I wish they would work him into some of the late game sets. Get him the ball at the elbow and let him work. Seems like it’s just DG or DM iso when things get tight

Three words I never thought I’d read on this forum: “kudos to Bickerstaff.”

Additional kudos to Bickerstaff for challenging the blocking call on Garland that was ruled a charge on review. Saved the game assuming even one of the free throws were made.

Maybe he should have gone to Stevens earlier. The decision to sit Allen in the 4th quarter and go with the small lineup of Garland, Mitchell, LeVert, Stevens, and Mobley worked out in the end, with some help from a choke job by Grant Williams. But credit the Cavs for effectively stalling and making him stand there for 45 seconds before his second free throw.

Just keep the 4 seed and anything can happen. Mobley is starting to show signs of domination.....the league is fucked.

Yep, he sprinted to the 3pt line during the shooting motion then slowed down to look inconspicuous and sped back up again to get position before anyone else. Donovan blamed himself in the post game for not boxing out but Marcus almost pulled off the shenanigan.

I wasn't sure what the rule was exactly, good call!

And I still don't believe that foul call at the end of regulation. I've seen that exact thing happen so often at the end of games & it never gets called.

I didn’t like the foul call Mitchell got either. A big thing I’ve seen this year is refs being willing to totally decide games by calling fouls on last second shots. Non obvious fouls too. It used to be the last minute of the game was the one goddamn time players would play and you weren’t rewarded for throwing your body into somebody for a foul.
